Combined Geo-Scientist Main Examination 2025

On June 21 and 22, 2025, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted the written portion of the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination. Following the results, a list of candidates who have qualified for the Interview and Personality Test has been released. These candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility criteria and prepare the necessary documentation for verification during the upcoming tests.
Provisional Candidature and Required Documentation
The candidates who have qualified for the Interview/Personality Test are considered to have provisional candidature. This status is contingent upon their eligibility being confirmed in all respects. To validate their claims regarding age, educational qualifications, community status, and any physical disabilities, candidates must present original certificates during the Personality Test. It is crucial for candidates to prepare these documents in advance to avoid any complications during the verification process.
Important Dates for Document Submission
Candidates who have qualified for the Personality Test will have a 15-day window to update their educational qualifications. This window will be open from July 29 to August 12, 2025, until 6:00 PM. During this period, candidates must ensure that they provide accurate information regarding their educational status and upload proof of their qualifications. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the Personality Test, and their candidature may be canceled. Additionally, candidates will have the opportunity to update their correspondence address, higher qualifications, achievements, employment details, and service preferences during this time.
Interview Schedule and Responsibilities
The schedule for the Interviews of qualified candidates will be announced on the UPSC website in due course. Candidates are advised to regularly check their emails for updates regarding their interview dates. It is important to note that requests for changes to the scheduled date and time of the Personality Test will not be entertained under any circumstances. Candidates must take responsibility for ensuring they are available on the assigned dates.
Accessing Results and Further Information
The mark sheets for the candidates will be available on the UPSC website within 15 days following the final result announcement, which occurs after the Personality Test. Candidates can access their marks by entering their Roll Numbers and dates of birth. For those who wish to receive printed copies of their mark sheets, requests must be made within 30 days of the marks being published online. Candidates are also encouraged to notify the UPSC of any changes to their addresses promptly. For any inquiries or clarifications regarding the examination or results, candidates can visit the UPSC Facilitation Counter during working hours.
