College/University Connect programme during One Week One Lab Event at CSIR-CGCRI

Under the ‘One Week One Lab’ (OWOL) program, CSIR- Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute (CGCRI), Kolkata organized a college-university connection program titled ‘Connecting and Creating Future Leaders’ on 23rd August 2023 Participated by around 127 students, the interaction aimed to create a scientific climate among young people to transform them into future leaders of science and technology. Professor Parthasarathi Chakrabarti, Director of IIEST, Shibpur graced the occasion as the chief guest and Professor AK Mishra, Director of CSIR-CIMFR was present as the guest of honour. Sessions included those on the history of CSIR and CSIR-CGCRI; highlights of the institute’s technological achievements; and demonstration of products/technologies through laboratory visits.
