The Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways (MoPSW) will hold workshop on “Ship Building and Ship Repair” as part of our commitment to achieving the goals outlined in MIV 2030 and Maritime AmritKaal Vision 2047. The workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, 21st February 2024, in New Delhi.

The workshop aims to tackle challenges in the Ship Building and Ship Repair industry and cultivate strategies for a healthier marine ecosystem. With a focus on fostering indigenous shipbuilding and increasing Indian ship ownership, insights and expertise are crucial to transforming the Indian Shipping industry.
MoPSW is determined to propel India among the top shipbuilding nations globally by 2030 and aims to secure a top 5 ranking by 2047.
