Raghuvir Sahay (9 December 1929 – 30 December 1990) was an Indian Hindi poet, short-story writer, essayist, literary critic, translator, and journalist.
Life and Career
Raghuvir Sahay was born on 9 December 1929, in Lucknow. Sahay completed his early education in Lahar and later moved to Gwalior for higher studies. He obtained a master’s degree in Hindi literature from the prestigious Gwalior University. His academic pursuits laid the foundation for his literary journey, providing him with a profound understanding of Hindi literature and culture.
Raghuvir Sahay’s literary career began in the 1950s when he started writing poems, essays, and literary critiques.
