Agyeya (7 March 1911 – 4 April 1987) was an Indian writer, poet, novelist, literary critic, journalist, translator and revolutionary in Hindi language.

Life and Career

Agyeya was born on 7 March 1911, in Kushinagar.

He received his early education in Varanasi and later went on to study at the University of Allahabad, where he obtained a master’s degree in English literature. He was deeply influenced by the works of Western writers and thinkers, and this influence is reflected in his literary style.
