C-DOT Celebrates Innovation at Annual IP Awards Ceremony 2026
The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), a leading telecom research and development centre under the Ministry of Communications, marked a significant milestone with its Annual IP Awards Ceremony 2026. Held at the Delhi campus, the ceremony celebrated exceptional contributions in the field of Intellectual Property (IP), recognizing the innovative efforts of C-DOT’s researchers and engineers that bolster India’s telecom technology landscape.
During the event, a remarkable total of 47 patents, 3 copyrights, and 8 research papers were acknowledged. Awards were presented to 64 individuals for their exemplary work at the Delhi facility. This recognition highlights the vital role played by C-DOT’s innovators, whose pioneering projects are essential in enhancing the institution’s intellectual property portfolio and fostering a culture of innovation.

Earlier, the C-DOT Bengaluru campus hosted its own Annual IP Awards Ceremony 2026, where 78 innovators were celebrated for their remarkable contributions to IP development. This event recognized 36 patents, 18 copyrights, 9 trademarks, and 3 research papers, collectively showcasing the depth and breadth of innovation within the organization.
The parallel ceremonies in both Delhi and Bengaluru highlight C-DOT’s unwavering commitment to fostering innovation and developing indigenous technologies that enhance India’s standing as a leader in the telecommunications sector.
