Boat Launches Ultima Prime and Ember Smartwatches

Boat has officially launched its latest smartwatches, the Ultima Prime and Ultima Ember, in India. Both models feature Bluetooth calling capabilities, complete with built-in microphones and speakers. The Ultima Prime boasts a battery life of up to five days, while the Ember variant claims an impressive 15 days of usage. With IP68-rated dust and water resistance, these wearables also offer comprehensive health and fitness tracking functionalities.

Pricing and Availability in India

The Boat Ultima Prime and Ultima Ember smartwatches are priced at Rs. 1,899 each, as confirmed by the company in a recent press release. Consumers can purchase these devices through the Boat website, Amazon, Flipkart, and select retail outlets across India. The smartwatches are available in a variety of colors, including Royal Berry, Rose Gold, Steel Black, and Silver Mist. Additionally, the Ultima Prime offers extra color options such as Forest Green and Onyx Black, while the Ultima Ember is available in a Bold Black variant.

Features and Specifications of Ultima Prime and Ember

The Boat Ultima Prime features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466×466 pixels and a brightness of 700 nits, along with Always-On Display support. Users can easily check notifications or the time using the Wake Gesture feature. In contrast, the Ultima Ember sports a larger 1.96-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 368×448 pixels and a brightness level of 800 nits.

Both smartwatches support Bluetooth calling and come equipped with a dial pad that can store up to 20 contacts. They also feature built-in microphones and speakers, along with functional crowns for easy navigation. Users can customize their watch faces through cloud-based options and access over 100 pre-installed sports modes. Health tracking capabilities include heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen levels (SpO2), sleep tracking, stress management, and menstrual cycle tracking.

Each model is powered by a 300mAh battery, with the Ultima Prime offering a usage time of up to five days and the Ember providing up to 15 days. However, when utilizing Bluetooth calling, the battery life may decrease to between three to five days. Both devices meet the IP68 standard for dust and water resistance, ensuring durability in various conditions.
