The Pandit Ji tells Lakshmi they need a chain for the Ladu Gopal ritual. Lakshmi leaves to get it, but Pandit Ji calls her back. Malishka then arrives, and Aanchal asks her for Neelam’s migraine medicine. Malishka warns Aanchal that it might make Neelam too sleepy since there’s an ongoing function. Aanchal ignores her and looks for the medicine. Lakshmi enters and mentions that they are in the first aid box. Malishka accuses Lakshmi of opening Neelam’s almirah, but Lakshmi explains that she ordered medicines for Dadi and also got Neelam’s. Malishka, upset, asks Karishma if she saw how Aanchal behaved. Karishma recalls seeing Neelam and Aanchal talking earlier and warns Malishka that Aanchal might not be on their side anymore.
Meanwhile, Shalu asks Rishi if he has five rupees. Rishi, joking, says he can give her more, but Shalu insists on only five rupees. Aayush comes over, and they both continue teasing her, but Shalu leaves. Aayush watches her leave, but his wife Anushka arrives, asking him to speak in private.
Rishi then stops Lakshmi, wanting to ask her something. He promises it won’t be hard, so she agrees. He asks if she always tells the truth, and Lakshmi says she does. As Lakshmi walks by, she accidentally bumps into Malishka. Malishka confronts her, asking why she hasn’t left the house yet. Lakshmi explains that she tried, but circumstances forced her to stay. Malishka wonders if Lakshmi thinks she didn’t try hard enough to convince Neelam. Lakshmi acknowledges that Malishka probably tried, but she also didn’t want to stay either.

Back with the family, Rishi confesses to Aayush that he told Shalu the truth about his feelings for Lakshmi. Later, Malishka sneaks out to sabotage the pooja. She loosens a bolt on a structure, hoping it will fall on Lakshmi. Just as she’s about to drop it, Paru calls out to her, causing her to stop. But eventually, the structure falls, and Paru gets hurt.

She explains that she can’t forget the pain she’s endured and doesn’t want to trust anyone again. Malishka, still furious, vows that this time Lakshmi will pay for everything. She’s determined to throw Lakshmi out of the house tonight. Her mother warns her that this fight feels different, but Malishka doesn’t listen.
Lakshmi, wiping away her tears, walks away, leaving behind her hopes of rekindling her relationship with Rishi.
