Scene 1: Surprise Visitors and Secret Schemes
Lakshmi was halfway through making tea when Paro and Rohan burst into Rano’s house. “Aunty!” Paro yelled, throwing her arms around Lakshmi’s waist. Rohan trailed behind, grinning shyly. Rano clapped her hands, shouting, “Look who’s here!” She pulled both kids into a hug, nearly knocking over Shalu, who stood nearby. But Paro wriggled free, hiding behind Lakshmi. “I don’t want her,” she muttered, glaring at Shalu. Meanwhile, Rishi paced the living room at home, dialing Paro’s toy phone. “They’re gone!” he told Lakshmi’s sister. Neelam sat stiffly on a sofa, chewing her nails. “They’re mad at me,” she whispered. “They think I’m the villain.” Their driver interrupted, “They’re at Rano’s house. Just then, Neelam stepped through the door. Lakshmi froze, her teacup clattering onto a saucer.

“Time to go,” Neelam announced, arms crossed. Paro planted her feet. “Not without Aunty!” she shouted. Rohan nodded fiercely. “You’re bad!” Paro added, pointing at Neelam. Lakshmi knelt beside her. “We don’t call people bad,” she said gently. Paro scuffed her shoe. “Sorry,” she mumbled. Neelam sighed. “Lakshmi… come home. Just for tonight.” Rishi’s eyes widened. Malishka spat out her water. Lakshmi hugged the kids tight. “Okay,” she said. Paro and Rohan whooped, dragging her toward the car. Anushka barged into Kiran’s room, slamming the mango juice on a table. “He didn’t drink it!” she hissed. Kiran rolled her eyes. “Maybe stop trying to drug people?” Her phone buzzed—Malishka’s call lit up the screen. “Lakshmi’s back,” Kiran said, listening. Anushka snatched the phone. “Tell her kids are ruining everything!” Back at the wedding venue, Harleen squeezed Neelam’s hand. “Bringing Lakshmi here was genius,” she said. “She should be with Shalu and Rohan.” Neelam smiled thinly. She waved at Karishma. “Check on Shalu. And Aanchal?” She leaned in. “I’ve got a secret. Later.” Aanchal frowned, scribbling notes in her head.
Scene 3: Wedding Tensions and Truths
Lakshmi adjusted her saree near the venue’s entrance. Rishi appeared, holding two cups of chai. “Here,” he said, handing her one. They stood silently, steam curling between them. Malishka watched from a pillar, texting Kiran: “Fix this NOW.” Kiran replied with a shrug emoji. Shalu bounced over to Ayush, holding two candy sticks. “Lakshmi’s here! Isn’t it amazing?” she said. Ayush grunted, staring at his shoes. Down the hall, Neelam cornered Lakshmi. “You think you’re winning?” she snapped. Lakshmi sipped her chai. “I’m here for the wedding. That’s all.” Neelam’s lip curled. “Same old stubborn Lakshmi.” Malishka materialized, eavesdropping. Lakshmi turned away. “Excuse me,” she said politely, walking off. Malishka hissed into her phone, “She’s poisoning everyone!” Anushka’s voice crackled through the speaker. “We’re not done yet.” As fireworks burst overhead, Shalu tugged Lakshmi’s hand. “Look! The bride’s here!” Lakshmi smiled, but her eyes drifted to Rishi across the room. He raised his teacup again, a tiny salute. Malishka stomped her foot, spilling wine down her dress. “This isn’t OVER!” she hissed at no one.
