Scene 1: Memories, Music, and Manohar’s Truth
Anupama sits beside Manohar as he begins sharing a story from his past — his very first dance performance. His voice carries pride as he talks about how it wasn’t just about moving to the rhythm, but about breaking through his own fears. He then talks about his achievements — all the awards, trophies, and the applause he once earned.
As he talks, the topic shifts to his children. He proudly says they are well-mannered and respectful. Anupama listens closely. Her eyes look down for a moment, and her voice becomes soft. She tells him he is lucky to have children like that. Manohar notices her change in tone and asks, “Why do you say that?” Anupama replies gently, “Because not every parent is that lucky.” Manohar agrees. “Yes,” he says, “I am lucky that my children still respect the values they were raised with.” Anupama nods. “I want to help you in any way I can,” she says with quiet determination. Just then, a storm is already brewing elsewhere in the Shah house.
Scene 2: Truth Hurts in the Shah House
Hasmuk calls Paritosh over and confronts him directly. “Why did you take money from Raja?” he asks. Before Paritosh can answer, Leela joins in. “You already have a job, don’t you? Then what was the need for money?” Kinjal steps forward, calm but firm. “He doesn’t have a job. He’s been lying. All he does is waste time playing cards and loses money.” Hasmuk is stunned. “Is this true?” he asks. Before Paritosh can reply, Leela slaps him. The sound fills the room. Paritosh rubs his cheek and says, “I tried to find work, but nothing came through.”
Kinjal doesn’t soften. “You always blame everything and everyone. You act like a victim when you’re the one doing wrong.” Paritosh defends himself, but his words feel empty. “You should just leave this house,” Kinjal says coldly. Paritosh declares, “Someday I’ll be a big businessman.” Kinjal doesn’t flinch. “If Anupama were here, she would’ve thrown you out by now.” That hits Paritosh hard. “Don’t try to be like Anupama!” he snaps at Kinjal. Then Pari speaks up. “Stay away from Raja and the Kotharis,” she tells her father firmly. Meanwhile, at Manohar’s home, a painful moment is about to arrive.
Scene 3: A Son’s Cruelty, a Father’s Collapse
Tarun visits Manohar. At first, Manohar’s face lights up. But the moment doesn’t last — Tarun pushes his father away. Anupama watches from the side, feeling bad. Tarun doesn’t stop at physical rejection. He throws harsh words. “Sell this house,” he demands. Manohar looks shocked. “This house holds your mother’s memories. I can’t do that.” But Tarun remains cold. “She’s gone. She’s not coming back.”
Anupama steps in. “You can’t force him. This house is his right.” Tarun turns to her. “Stay in your limits.” Then comes the cruelest sentence: “I wish he would just die, so I can get this house.” Manohar and Anupama stand in silence. The words hang heavy. Tarun continues, “If you don’t sell the house, I won’t even perform your last rites.” Manohar slowly agrees. “I will sell it and come live with you.” Tarun doesn’t stop. “I don’t want my kids to feel ashamed of me, like I was of you.” Then, with no warning, he smashes Manohar’s trophies — the very symbols of his past pride.
Anupama and Manohar watch in disbelief. Manohar quietly says, “Parents work hard all their lives for their children, and this is what they get.” Anupama tries to comfort him. But suddenly, Manohar loses balance and collapses. Anupama panics, trying to hold him up. Manohar whispers, “Let me go. That’s what he wants anyway.” Anupama shakes her head and rushes to get help.
Scene 4: Fights, Theft, and a Race to Save a Life
Elsewhere, a different kind of storm brews. Pakhi speaks with Ishani. She has a plan — to steal imported goods from the Kotharis and sell them. Ishani encourages her. “Be smart,” she says. Pakhi nods and sets her plan in motion. Ishani decides to go out for coffee. Back at Manohar’s house, the doctor arrives. He looks at Anupama. “What’s his medical history?” he asks. Anupama replies, “I’m just the maid here.” The doctor insists. “Find it. We can’t begin treatment without it.”
Anupama looks around. “I will find his medicines and prescriptions. Please wait.” At the Shah house, Pari sits alone. Raja notices and asks, “Why are you sad?” Pari says, “Because of my dad. I feel embarrassed in front of Meeta, Vasundhara, and Khyati. And I feel bad for Rahi too, who has to hear all their taunts.” Raja assures her. “I’ll help you. I’ll always be honest with you.”
Meanwhile, Anupama rushes through the house, opening drawers and cabinets, looking for Manohar’s prescriptions. In another part of the city, Rahi tries to call Manohar to check if he is in Ahmedabad. Anupama hears the landline ring. She answers, hoping someone can guide her. But before she can speak much, Tarun walks in and sees her with the phone in her hand.
