Anupama Written Update 20th March 2025

Scene 1

Anupama stood in the middle of the Kothari house living room. She looked around and said, “When a woman gets married, she gives up so much. She starts as a housewife, then takes care of kids. Her job never stops. She even has to ask if she can visit her own mom.” Parag was sitting on a big chair, looking annoyed. He said, “Anupama, go talk about this somewhere else.” But Khyati, Parag’s wife, stepped in. “Hold on, Parag. Anupama is telling the truth. We’re all part of Prem and Rahi’s family. We should help them, not stop them.” Then Khyati shared her own story. “When I married you, I had to give up my job. Baa said I couldn’t work. My mom and dad worked hard so I could study, and I feel sad I let them down.”

Baa, Parag’s mom, didn’t like that. “Khyati, stop it. Anupama is making you say these things.” Parag said, “I gave you everything you needed.” Khyati shook her head. “But a pretty cage is still a cage. You wanted Prem to like you, but Baa made him sad instead.” She kept going, “Let Prem choose what he wants to do. Would you stop your business and cook food for people instead?” Baa said again, “Khyati, be quiet now.” Anupama stayed quiet, watching everyone argue. Khyati looked at Parag and said, “I just want Prem to be happy. Why can’t we let him try his own way?” Parag crossed his arms. “He should listen to us.” Khyati replied, “But forcing him isn’t right. We should care about what he wants too.” Baa huffed, “Enough of this talking.” Anupama could see how hard it was for Khyati to say all this. The room felt loud with everyone’s voices.

Scene 2

Then Meeta, Anil’s daughter, stood up. She’s learning to be a business expert. She looked at her dad and said, “Dad, why did you pay for my school if I can’t work? In this house, we can’t even breathe without asking first.” Baa looked mad. “Anil, tell Meeta to behave!” But Anil said, “Meeta, I’m sorry. I didn’t know you felt bad. Khyati, I’m sorry to you too.” Pakhi, who was watching, pointed at Anupama. “You’re the problem, Anupama. You’re making everyone fight.” Anupama said, “Pakhi, don’t get in the middle of this.” Raja spoke next. “Vasundhara, you’re wrong. Rahi and Prem should study and do what they love.” Vasundhara got really mad and slapped Raja. “Don’t say that! Anupama is breaking our family apart!”

Parag said, “Yeah, it’s Anupama’s fault.” Prem and Rahi heard all this and looked at each other. Prem said, “Rahi, let’s go. We don’t need to stay here.” Rahi nodded. “Okay, Prem. Let’s leave.” They started walking to the door. Vasundhara ran after them. “Rahi, stop Prem! You promised me you’d help!” Rahi turned around. “I wanted to be a good daughter-in-law. I wanted to learn how to run the house. But you wouldn’t let me.” Prem added, “We’re done here. We’re going.” Vasundhara shouted, “Please don’t go!” But Rahi said, “You didn’t give me a chance to fit in. I tried so hard.” Anil watched quietly, feeling bad. Meeta said to her dad, “See? This house stops everyone from being happy.” Pakhi grumbled, “Anupama always messes things up.” Prem grabbed Rahi’s hand. “Come on, we’re leaving now.” Vasundhara kept calling, “Rahi, please!” But Rahi and Prem kept going. They were ready to start somewhere new.

Scene 3

As Prem and Rahi reached the door, Vasundhara yelled, “If you leave, I won’t live!” Parag pointed at Anupama. “You’re taking my son! You’ll be sorry for this!” Anupama didn’t back down. “Prem, Rahi, you can stay at the Shah house. You’re welcome there.” Prem said, “Thanks, Anupama. Let’s go, Rahi.” After they left, Gautam said, “Anupama and Rahi are splitting Prem from us.” Anil said, “Gautam, don’t make Baa more upset.” Parag said, “Vasundhara shouldn’t have burned that letter.” Anil replied, “We should talk and get them back.” Parag said, “No way. I won’t ask them to come back.” At the Shah house, Pakhi was still mad. “Anupama, you’re a bad mom. No kid should have you.” Leela and Hasmuk stepped in. “Pakhi, don’t talk like that.” Anupama said, “Pakhi’s upset because her plans with Ishani and Raja didn’t work.” Later, Prem and Rahi got to their new place. Rahi said, “Prem, I’ll help you set up.” Paritosh and Pakhi came by. Paritosh asked, “Prem, are you going back to the Kothari house?”

Anupama answered, “They’re staying here. We should let them choose.” Prem said, “Yeah, this is our home now.” Rahi smiled. “We’ll make it work together.” Pakhi whispered to Ishani, “Let’s use this to get the Kotharis to like us.” Ishani nodded. “Good idea, Pakhi.” Anil said to Parag, “We could fix this if you’d talk.” But Parag said, “Never. They left, and that’s it.” Leela told Anupama, “You did the right thing.” Hasmuk added, “Prem and Rahi need support, not fights.” Anupama watched Prem and Rahi unpack, happy they were safe.
