Scene 1: A Usual Morning at the Shah House
After a few years, the day begins at the Shah house. Leela stands in front of the prayer room, her hands folded as she prays to God. Meanwhile, Hasmuk, her husband, is searching for his watch all around the house. “Where’s my watch now? I can’t find it anywhere!” he grumbles. Leela hears him but keeps praying. After a while, she says, “You know, Hasmuk, if you went to the park with me every morning, maybe you wouldn’t lose your things all the time.” Hasmuk stops looking for the watch and snaps, “The park again? Why don’t you go with Anupama instead?”
Leela rolls her eyes. Anupama, on the other hand, is busy taking care of Kaveri, a family friend. “Kaveri, it’s your daughter’s birthday today. You should pray for her happiness,” she tells her kindly. Kaveri smiles at Anupama and nods, silently saying a prayer for her daughter.
Scene 2: Business Troubles
Later, Paritosh comes to talk to Anupama. “Mom, the investor wants to talk to you about Anu Ki Rasoi,” he says with concern in his voice. Anupama quickly takes the phone call. The investor, sounding serious, asks, “Why should I invest in your business? What makes it special?” Anupama, trying her best to explain, says, “Anu Ki Rasoi may be small, but it’s built on trust. Every meal we make comes straight from the heart.” However, the investor isn’t convinced. “I can’t invest in such a small business,” he says before ending the call.
Anupama is left feeling a bit upset. Paritosh, always thinking about money, says, “Mom, you never think about saving! How are we going to grow if you don’t care about profit?” Anupama, staying hopeful, replies, “The business will grow when the time is right. But we should focus on health first. That’s what matters.”
Scene 3: A Fun Moment with Ansh
As Anupama steps outside for a breather, she suddenly feels a football hit her. “Ouch!” she says, looking up to see Ansh, a playful neighborhood boy, running over to her. “Sorry, aunty!” he says, grinning sheepishly. Anupama laughs, rubbing her arm. “Ansh, you’ve grown so much! Do you have a girlfriend yet?” she teases him. Ansh, being cheeky, replies, “I keep changing them, Aunty. Love is fun like that!” Anupama smiles, the light-hearted moment making her think of Anuj and the love they once shared. Her thoughts drift to her daughter, whose birthday it is today.
Scene 4: Pakhi’s Response and a Lesson on Health
Back inside, Anupama makes tea for Leela, but Leela doesn’t even look at her. Trying to ignore the cold shoulder, Anupama turns to Pakhi. “Pakhi, you missed breakfast earlier. Can you help make lunch?” she asks. Pakhi, barely looking up from her phone, responds, “I just made coffee for Ishani. She needed it more than lunch.” Anupama, a bit surprised, says, “Caffeine isn’t really good for kids, Pakhi.” Pakhi rolls her eyes. “Mom, Ishani’s a model. She needs to look good, unlike you, who just works in the kitchen all day.” Anupama is hurt by her daughter’s words but stays calm. She decides that she will go to a workshop she had planned to attend instead.
Scene 5: Kinjal and Pari’s Health Debate
Meanwhile, Kinjal, Anupama’s daughter-in-law, is trying to get her daughter Pari to lose weight. “Pari, you need to start exercising. It’s important for your health,” she says softly. Pakhi, always ready with a comment, says, “Look at Ishani. She’s so slim and fit. That’s what matters these days.” Paritosh steps in, defending his daughter. “Kinjal, let her enjoy her food. She’s just a kid!” Kinjal frowns and responds, “You’ve already spoiled her, Paritosh. She needs some discipline!”
Anupama tries to comfort Pari, telling her, “Don’t feel bad about your weight, dear. What matters is being healthy and happy.” But Kinjal, feeling frustrated, snaps, “Maa, stop encouraging her! You can’t even handle Pakhi properly!” Anupama is shocked by Kinjal’s words and doesn’t know how to respond.
Scene 6: Mahi’s Birthday and a Small Mistake
Later, Ansh, Pari, and Ishani are excited as they gather to welcome Mahi, a special guest. Anupama has decided to celebrate Mahi’s birthday, so they bring out a cake. But as Mahi looks at it, she seems confused. “Why does it say ‘Choti’ on the cake instead of my name?” she asks. Anupama immediately apologizes. “I’m so sorry, Mahi. We’ll fix it right away.” But Mahi, with a kind smile, says, “It’s okay, Anupama. You’ve raised me like your own. I don’t mind seeing Choti’s name. It doesn’t bother me.”
Paritosh, noticing the mistake, tells Pakhi to remove Choti’s name from the cake. But before Pakhi can do it, Anupama stops her. “No, Pakhi. Sometimes, it’s not just about a name. Respect people’s feelings,” she says firmly. Mahi appreciates Anupama’s thoughtful words and smiles warmly.
Scene 7: Hasmuk’s Words of Wisdom
In the evening, Hasmuk gathers everyone in the living room. He speaks up, his voice serious but full of care. “You all need to understand how important Anupama is. She’s been fighting for this family in her own way, and we need to value her more,” he says, looking at each family member. His words leave everyone thinking, as they realize just how much Anupama does for them. That night, Anupama finds herself unable to sleep. Her mind keeps wandering back to Anuj and their daughter, Adhya. She feels a strange connection, almost like a sign. “Could Adhya be in Dwarka?” she wonders, her heart full of hope and curiosity.
