Scene 1: Unveiling Gayatri’s Hidden Truth
Rahi stands before Parag, her voice gentle but firm. “Please,” she says, looking into his eyes, “tell Prem and Prarthana about Gayatri. They deserve the truth.” Anupama, who has been quietly observing, nods in agreement. She believes honesty will bring peace to everyone. Parag looks nervous. He glances at Khyati, who is silently watching from the corner. Then he sighs, knowing that this moment cannot be avoided anymore. Prem, feeling the tension, asks with urgency, “What are you hiding? Why is Rahi saying I don’t know the real story?” Rahi puts a comforting hand on his shoulder and replies, “You hate Parag and Khyati because of something you misunderstood. Please listen.” Vasundhara tries to stop them, but Anil steps forward. He carefully explains, “Your mother, Gayatri, died because she had a serious mental illness. Khyati never stole Parag from her. Gayatri was already gone when Khyati came into Parag’s life.”
A hush falls over the room. Prem’s mouth drops open. He had believed for so long that Khyati broke his family. He looks at Parag, trying to grasp this new truth. Parag stands there, head bowed, uncertain how his son will react. Anupama speaks up and says, “Khyati and Parag never wanted to hide anything to hurt you. They were worried you two would not understand mental illness as children.” Prarthana gently places her hand on Prem’s arm. “I felt Khyati’s love even when I was little. But you were too upset to notice.” Prem still appears stunned, remembering all those moments he resented Khyati. Rahi watches, hoping these words will help Prem see the kindness in Khyati and Parag. Meanwhile, in a different part of the house, Leela stands in the kitchen, looking for Raghav. “He was here just a minute ago,” she murmurs, wanting to ask him for some spices. Suddenly, Raghav appears behind her, making her jump. She gasps and yells, “Don’t scare me like that! Go away!” Raghav looks confused but tries to speak calmly. Just then, Hasmuk walks in. He comforts Leela and quietly says to Raghav, “Don’t worry about her words. She’s just startled.” Raghav decides to move past the awkward moment by doing something thoughtful. “Let me make tea for everyone,” he announces. “And I’ll prepare a cream roll for you, Hasmuk.” Hasmuk smiles, appreciating his kindness. The air feels calmer now. But a sense of lingering tension remains, as the newly revealed truth about Gayatri hangs over the household like a quiet echo.
Scene 2: Aryan Demands Answers
Aryan paces in the living room, growing restless. “Everyone is so busy with Prem’s feelings,” he says, a hint of frustration in his voice. “They have forgotten about my issue. It’s always about how Khyati and Parag hurt others, but what about me?” Rahi and Anupama look his way, sensing his rising impatience. Khyati steps closer, wringing her hands. She wants to speak to Aryan but struggles to find the right words. Aryan faces her and blurts out, “You say you’re my mother, but you kept me hidden to make Prem and Prarthana happy. Why did you do that?” Parag lowers his gaze and quietly agrees with Aryan’s anger. “Khyati, you never told me about your son. Now Aryan feels betrayed,” he says. “You made a choice, and you must face the consequences.” Hearing the word “consequences,” Khyati’s eyes fill with concern. She wants to explain but sees how hurt Aryan is. At that moment, Prem, who has just learned the truth about Gayatri, looks at Aryan with understanding. “I’m sorry,” he says softly. “I blamed Khyati for so many things, and I was wrong. I know how it feels to believe the wrong story. I don’t want you to suffer alone.”
Aryan, still upset, shakes his head. “This isn’t just a misunderstanding. My entire identity was hidden. I need a real explanation. The Kotharis are patching up, but what about me?” Gautam, standing by the doorway, comments, “Aryan is quick to see everyone’s moves. Be careful how you handle this.” Leela, who has been observing from the hallway, wonders if Anupama has gone to see Rahi without telling her. She mutters, “Is Anupama at Rahi’s place? It’s odd. She usually tells me.” Hasmuk gently assures her, “Rahi must have invited Anupama. She wouldn’t go otherwise. Let’s trust her.” Back in the living room, Prem approaches Aryan, placing a hand on his arm. “I want to fix things,” Prem says. “If you feel betrayed, blame me, too. I let my anger cloud my judgment. We can solve this together.” Anupama and Rahi join in, softly urging Aryan to consider Khyati’s perspective. “Sometimes secrets start as a way to protect children,” Anupama explains. “But the pain they cause can last a long time.” Vasundhara, however, is not ready to forgive Khyati. “You had no right to keep Aryan away!” she snaps. “Everything is in chaos because of your secret.” Anupama steps in to remind her, “Let us not forget that each of us has hidden things. This family is built on many stories.” Parag stands in the center of it all, looking from Khyati to Aryan. With a steady voice, he says, “We have reached a point where we must make a final decision.”
Scene 3: Shah Family Troubles and the Final Stand
Far away in the Shah house, Kinjal sits with Paritosh. She is worried about their daughter Pari’s future. “I will do anything to make sure our child is safe,” Kinjal declares. Paritosh nods, recalling that Kinjal’s senior at work trusts her. “Just don’t do anything wrong,” he pleads. “Promise me you will never break that trust. Don’t think about taking money that isn’t yours.” Kinjal looks startled by his concern. “Steal money? I would never do that,” she answers, feeling shocked he would mention it. In another room, Ishani confronts Pakhi. Pakhi has been following Ishani around, insisting she should marry Raja. “You’re being so stubborn,” Ishani says. “I don’t want to marry him!” Pari, standing close by, supports Ishani. “If Ishani doesn’t wish to see Raja, she shouldn’t have to,” Pari says calmly. But Pakhi accuses Pari of having her own motives. “You want Raja for yourself, don’t you?” she taunts. Kinjal and Paritosh rush over and ask Pakhi to stop hurling accusations. Just then, someone spots a cigarette in Ishani’s purse. Everyone looks stunned. “Why do you have this?” they ask. Ishani appears unsettled but tries to explain, “It’s not mine! I— I’m just holding it for a friend.” The family members exchange worried glances, uncertain how to respond.
Back at the Kothari home, emotions run high. Parag stands up straight, declaring, “Khyati, I cannot overlook the fact you kept Aryan a secret. I am disowning you.” Khyati’s voice trembles. “Please don’t do this. I made a mistake, but I only wanted to protect everyone.” She looks around, hoping someone will stand by her. Anupama, Rahi, and even Prem speak up for Khyati, pleading with Parag to reconsider. But he stays firm in his choice, saying, “Actions have consequences.” At that moment, Prem takes a deep breath. “If you won’t accept Khyati,” he says, “then I won’t stay here either. I was unfair to her for so long, and I can’t let her face this alone.” He moves to stand beside Khyati, ready to walk away. Rahi lowers her head, praying this family will find peace. Anupama stands close by, looking determined to support them.
