Amit Shah Hoists National Flag at Residence in New Delhi, Urges Citizens to Join Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign

In a significant gesture, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, hoisted the Tiranga (Indian National Flag) atop his residence in New Delhi today as part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The campaign, launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, aims to instill a sense of national pride and unity among the citizens of India by encouraging them to hoist the national flag at their homes.

Taking to social media platform โ€˜Xโ€™ (formerly known as Twitter), Shri Amit Shah shared his thoughts on the occasion. He emphasized the importance of the campaign, stating that under Prime Minister Modiโ€™s Har Ghar Tiranga initiative, the entire nation is being adorned with the tricolor. “Today, by hoisting the Tiranga at my residence in New Delhi, I remembered the heroes who sacrificed everything for the freedom of the country. The Tiranga will continue to billow forever as a symbol of unity, loyalty, and pride of crores of countrymen,” he posted.

In another post, Shri Amit Shah appealed to the public to actively participate in the campaign. He encouraged citizens to hoist the Tiranga at their homes and upload selfies on the official website of the campaign, http://harghartiranga.com. This call to action is a part of the broader effort to engage citizens in this “sacred festival of democracy,” as Shah described it.

The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign has seen widespread participation across the country, with millions of homes and public buildings displaying the national flag, symbolizing the unity and diversity of India. The initiative is part of the government’s broader efforts to commemorate India’s independence and foster a sense of patriotism among its citizens.

As the campaign continues, the government hopes that more people will join in, making the Tiranga a ubiquitous symbol of national pride and unity.
