Air Marshal Rajesh Kumar Anand, Vishisht Seva Medal took up his post as Acting Officer of the Air Administration (AOA) on 1 June 2023. An alumnus of the National Defense Academy, the Air Marshal was commissioned in the Administrative Branch of the Indian Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller on 13 June 1987. He attended Higher Air Command Course at College of Air Warfare and Area Control Course at Singapore Aviation Academy.
In a career spanning more than 36 years, the Air Marshal has held various positions in the field and in the personnel. Prior to his current appointment, he was Director General (Administration) at Air Force Headquarters in New Delhi.
For his distinguished service, he was awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal by the President of India in January 2022.
