‘AI for Empowering PwDs’ Conference to Highlight Transformative Role of AI

The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) and the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) are set to host a significant conference titled “AI for Empowering PwDs” on May 30, 2025, in Bengaluru. This event aims to highlight the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in developing inclusive and assistive solutions for persons with disabilities (PwDs). The conference will gather experts, innovators, and policymakers from around the world to explore cutting-edge AI applications that can enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

Conference Overview and Objectives

The “AI for Empowering PwDs” conference is designed to be a pioneering initiative that underscores the importance of AI in fostering inclusivity. The event will feature a diverse array of participants, including academicians, technologists, startups, and stakeholders who are dedicated to improving the lives of PwDs.
