Gini blocks Anjali in the hallway. “Why is he here?” she demands, nodding toward Abhay. Anjali steps closer. “He’s a witness and a victim. Proving his innocence clears me too.” Gini scoffs. “Or you’re hiding something.” Abhay approaches, but Gini cuts him off. “Save it. I need proof, not words.” She storms out. At the police station, Anjali corners Vinod. “You’ve ruined lives with your lies!” Vinod smirks. “You can’t touch me. Raghav’s handling this case.” Anjali leans in. “I’ll destroy you.” Vidyut leads her to Aman’s hospital room. Padma shakes her head. “His condition’s too fragile for court.” Anjali insists, “He’ll come. He has to.” Raghav quizzes Aman’s doctor. “Can he testify?” The doctor shrugs. “50-50.” Nivedita cries, “Why is Anjali putting him through this?” Raghav snaps, “She’s not his wife! Kavya will marry him.” Sadhika interrupts. “If Anjali goes to jail, Abhay goes too.” Raghav glares. “Too bad.”
Scene 3: Plots and Promises
Yuvraj paces. “We need to bury Anjali’s reputation.” Bhajan nods. “Aman’s our problem. Stop him from testifying.” Raghav adds, “Kill his credibility—or worse.” Kavya grabs Bhajan’s arm. “Don’t hurt him! I’ll convince him not to testify.” Yuvraj eyes her. “If he refuses, we have no choice.”
