Adobe Photoshop App for iPhone: Availability and Pricing

The Adobe Photoshop app is now available for download on the App Store for iPhone users at no cost. Adobe has announced that an Android version will be released soon. While the app is free to download, many of its advanced features require a subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud. In India, the subscription starts at Rs. 799 per month or Rs. 6,900 annually for the new Photoshop Mobile and Web plan. This plan includes essential tools such as Magic Wand, Generative Fill and Expand, Object Select, Content-Aware Fill, and advanced blending modes.

Features of the Adobe Photoshop App for iOS

The newly launched Adobe Photoshop app for iOS boasts a user-friendly interface designed for mobile editing. It offers a range of tools for image editing and design, allowing for precise selections, targeted adjustments, and advanced color corrections. Users on the free plan receive 5GB of cloud storage to save their edits. The app enables creators to combine, composite, and blend images using selections, layers, and masks to produce unique designs. Among its various tools, the Spot Healing Brush is particularly useful for removing unwanted elements from images, while the Tap Select tool allows users to remove, replace, or recolor specific parts of an image. The app also features AI-powered editing tools, including Generative Fill and Generative Expand. The Generative Fill tool analyzes an image’s pixels to seamlessly add or remove content, ensuring consistency in lighting, perspective, and color. Conversely, the Generative Expand tool allows users to extend images beyond their original borders using AI-generated content based on text prompts.

Additionally, users can access a free library of Adobe Stock assets to enhance their images. The app integrates directly with other Adobe creative applications, including Adobe Express, Adobe Fresco, and Adobe Lightroom, facilitating easy export of images to these platforms.
