Acer has recently introduced two powerful gaming laptops: the Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and the Predator Helios Neo 18 AI. These laptops are designed for gamers who demand high performance and cutting-edge technology. Both models feature the latest Intel Core Ultra 200HX Series processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs. With display options of 16 inches and 18 inches, these laptops promise an immersive gaming experience. They boast impressive refresh rates of up to 250Hz and peak brightness levels reaching 500 nits. To keep the systems cool during intense gaming sessions, Acer has equipped them with 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans. Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Helios Neo 18 AI: Price and Availability

The pricing for the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 AI starts at $1,899.99, which is approximately Rs. 1,66,400 or EUR 1,699 (around Rs. 1,54,300). This model is set to hit the North American market in April, followed by a launch in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) regions in May.

In contrast, the Acer Predator Helios Neo 18 AI is priced starting at $2,199.99, roughly Rs. 1,92,700 or EUR 1,799 (approximately Rs. 1,63,400). This model will be available for purchase in North America beginning in May, with a June release planned for the EMEA regions.

Acer has noted that the specifications, prices, and availability may vary by region. As of now, there is no confirmation regarding the launch of these models in India. Gamers and tech enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting more details about the availability of these powerful machines in their respective markets.

Features and Specifications of Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Helios Neo 18 AI

The Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 AI offers users the choice of either an OLED or an IPS panel. It features a WQXGA resolution of 2560×1600, with refresh rates up to 240Hz and peak brightness levels of 500 nits. The laptop also incorporates Nvidia’s Advanced Optimus technology, enhancing graphics performance and battery life.

On the other hand, the Predator Helios Neo 18 AI comes with an 18-inch mini LED WQXGA display, offering a refresh rate of 250Hz. Alternatively, users can opt for an 18-inch LED WQXGA display with a refresh rate of up to 240Hz and the same peak brightness of 500 nits.

Both models can be configured with Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX or Core Ultra 7 255HX CPUs. Users can also choose between Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5070 Ti or RTX 5070 GPUs. They run on Windows 11 Home and support up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.

For cooling, both laptops feature 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans, liquid metal thermal grease, and vector heat pipes. They also support advanced features like Copilot and Experience Zone 2.0, which include Acer PurifiedView 2.0, PurifiedVoice 2.0, and ProCam. Additionally, users will receive a complimentary three-month subscription to the PC Xbox Game Pass.

Design and Connectivity Options

The design of the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Helios Neo 18 AI is sleek and modern. The Helios Neo 16 AI measures 356.78 x 275.5 x 26.75mm and weighs 2.7kg. In comparison, the Helios Neo 18 AI is slightly larger, with dimensions of 400.96 x 307.9 x 28mm and a weight of 3.3kg.

Both laptops are equipped with 90Wh batteries, ensuring extended gaming sessions without frequent recharging. They feature DTS X:Ultra-backed dual speakers for an immersive audio experience and full-HD IR webcams for clear video calls.

Connectivity options are extensive. Users can enjoy Wi-Fi 6E, Intel’s Killer Ethernet, and Bluetooth 5.3 or above. The laptops come with a variety of ports, including Thunderbolt 4 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, dual USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack.
