UPSC Announces CAPF Exam Results and Next Steps for Candidates
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results of the written part of the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2026. Candidates who participated in the examination held on July 19, 2026, can find their roll numbers among those qualifying for the next stage, the Physical Standards Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET).
The qualification is provisional, meaning that candidates must meet all eligibility criteria. As part of the upcoming Personality Test, candidates must present original documents verifying their age, educational qualifications, community claims, and other pertinent information. It is essential that candidates prepare these documents ahead of time to ensure a smooth process.
Mandatory Updates for Candidates
All candidates who have qualified must log into the UPSC portal within a 15-day window following the results announcement to update their educational qualifications and relevant details. This includes confirming information such as correspondence or permanent addresses, higher educational qualifications, and previous examination details. Failure to complete this process may lead to disqualification from further stages of the examination.
Even those candidates who believe no updates are necessary must still log in, verify their details, and finalize their online application. A printed version of the application form will be needed during the PST/PET exams, as well as to generate the e-summon letters for upcoming interviews.
Instructions from the Nodal Authority
The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), appointed by the Ministry of Home Affairs, will inform candidates about the schedule and venue for the PST/PET. This information will be accessible on the SSB recruitment website, alongside the distribution of e-admit cards via candidates’ registered email addresses. It is advised for candidates to check their emails regularly, including their spam folders, to ensure they receive crucial communications.
Candidates will need to present their e-admit cards, along with a hard copy of their application and a valid photo ID, at the testing centers on the day of the PST/PET.
Marksheet Access and Further Communications
For those who did not qualify, UPSC will upload the marksheets on its website following the final results announcement. Candidates can access their individual scores by entering their roll numbers and birth dates. Requests for printed marksheets must be made within 30 days of the online display, after which requests will not be entertained.
UPSC also operates a Facilitation Counter on its campus for candidates seeking information or clarification regarding their examinations or results. Available from 10 AM to 5 PM on working days, assistance can be sought in person or over the phone.
