Its transparent rear allows users to glimpse the internal components, reminiscent of earlier smartphone designs that featured removable batteries. Available in Black, White, and a new Blue color, the phone offers a fresh aesthetic that differentiates it from other models in the Nothing lineup.
Weighing in at just 199 grams and measuring 8.3mm thick, the phone feels lightweight despite housing a robust 5000 mAh battery. The near-stock Android interface contributes to a smooth user experience, making multitasking straightforward. While it may struggle to keep heavy games in memory, it excels in gaming performance.
The phone runs demanding games like Genshin Impact at high settings, maintaining a steady 60 fps. In BGMI, users can enjoy a 120fps mode, with smooth gameplay even during extended sessions. The device does warm up during intensive use but does not overheat, maintaining optimal performance throughout.
Running on the latest Nothing OS 3.5, the Phone 3a Lite offers a clean Android experience devoid of bloatware. Users can expect three major Android updates and six years of security patches, with the next update to Nothing OS 4.0 scheduled for early next year. AI features include the Essential Space for note-taking, although the phone comes pre-installed with Facebook and Instagram.
