Scene 1: Family Pressure and Hidden Truths
Anjali couldn’t stay quiet anymore when she saw how badly Yuvraj was treating Mehek. She went straight to Raghav with her concerns. “Raghav, you need to know that Yuvraj is being really cruel to Mehek. This isn’t right,” she said firmly. But Raghav didn’t want to hear anything against his son-in-law. “Anjali, don’t talk badly about Yuvraj. He’s part of our family now,” he replied sternly. He turned to Mehek and added, “You need to learn how to adjust with your new in-laws. That’s what married women do.”
Anjali wasn’t giving up that easily. “Even women have their self-respect, Raghav. Marriage doesn’t mean accepting abuse.” Sadika had heard enough of this argument. “Anjali, stop creating drama in front of everyone. If you don’t like it here, you can always stay somewhere else,” she said coldly. After that, everyone left the room, and Anjali went inside feeling frustrated and angry about the situation.
Later, when nobody else was around, Yuvraj cornered Mehek and gave her a stern warning. “Listen to me very carefully, Mehek. Don’t you dare tell anyone that I don’t love you or that my family is giving you trouble. Keep your mouth shut about everything that happens in this house,” he said threateningly. Then he added with fake concern, “Just keep smiling and pretend everything is perfect between us. That’s all you need to do.” After saying this, he walked away, leaving Mehek feeling scared and alone. Soon after, Anjali came to find Mehek, who was trying hard not to cry. “Don’t shed tears, beta.

You’re newly married, so you should get ready nicely and try to find some happiness in your life.” Mehek looked at the necklace but felt hopeless. “Anjali, tell me honestly, with whom should I try to stay happy? My husband doesn’t love me, and his family treats me badly.” Anjali put her arm around Mehek comfortingly. “Don’t worry, beta. I’m here with you, and I won’t let anyone hurt you.” She carefully put the necklace and matching earrings on Mehek, helping her get ready for the day’s ceremonies.
As Anjali was fixing Mehek’s hair, Mehek said something that touched her heart. “You know, Anjali, everyone in this house thinks badly of you and misunderstands your intentions. But I know the truth. You’re the best person in this entire house.” Anjali smiled sadly. “Just keep that smile on your face, Mehek. We need to go for the Aarti and Haldi ceremony now. Everything will be okay.” Just as they were about to leave, they turned around and saw Kavya standing in the doorway, watching them. Mehek was surprised. “Kavya, why are you here? What do you want?” Kavya smirked. “I came to watch this haldi drama that’s happening today. It should be quite entertaining.” Mehek remembered something and confronted her.
“You snatched my necklace from me, but I notice you’re not even wearing it. What was the point of taking it?” Kavya shrugged carelessly. “It was my choice to take it, and it’s also my choice not to wear it. I don’t want you wearing any jewelry in this house. So tell me, how did you get this new necklace?” Anjali stepped forward to defend Mehek. “I gave this necklace to my sister-in-law, and you need to stay within your limits, Kavya. Come on, Mehek, let’s go.” As they left, Kavya made a dangerous promise to herself. “I’m going to destroy Mehek’s life completely by turning Yuvraj against her. Today everyone is celebrating this haldi ceremony, but they have no idea that there will be bloodshed very soon.”
Scene 2: Celebrations and Secret Threats
The Rajput family was celebrating Ved’s Haldi ceremony with great joy and enthusiasm. All the ladies of the house and their guests were performing the traditional Aarti with beautiful decorations everywhere. Everyone was participating happily in the festivities, singing traditional songs and applying haldi to Ved. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and celebration as people danced and enjoyed themselves. Ved was dancing with all the men in his group, looking happy and excited about his upcoming wedding. Aarti was also dancing with the women’s group, though she didn’t know about the troubles that were coming her way.
But not everyone was celebrating. Kali was standing far away from all the festivities, watching everything with tears in her eyes. She felt like an outsider in what should have been her own celebration. Sadika noticed Kali standing alone and decided to approach her with some haldi. “Come here, Kali. Let me apply some haldi to you too,” she said, but her words had a cruel edge to them. “Last time when you were with Ved, you didn’t get to have any of these proper marriage rituals, did you? And your marriage with him was completely fake, with fake sindoor and everything. But don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone about that secret.”
She paused and then added with a wicked smile, “Anjali will probably come here with some court order soon, and then we’ll see if she comes as Aarti’s mother or as a lawyer trying to stop this wedding. Now come on, apply some haldi to me too.” Kali took the haldi in her hands, but instead of applying it gently, she smeared it roughly on Sadika’s face. “You listen to me very carefully, Sadika. Ved belongs to me, and I love him more than anyone else in this world. I will become his bride, not Aarti. I will marry Ved, and nobody can stop me.” After saying this, she walked away angrily. Sadika wiped the haldi from her face and thought to herself, “This marriage will definitely not happen. Either I will stop it, or Anjali will stop it, or maybe Gini will do something about it.”
At that same moment, Gini was calling Anjali from somewhere else. When Anjali picked up the phone, she asked, “Why are you calling me, Gini? What do you want now?” Gini’s voice was full of anger and bitterness. “Today is supposed to be the Haldi ceremony for Ved and Aarti, isn’t it? Well, let me tell you something. In my own marriage, nothing happened properly. I only got the sindoor daan ritual, and that was it. Now I see that everything is happening perfectly for Aarti, and I can’t stand it.” Her voice became more threatening. “I will not let Aarti’s marriage happen. I will make sure there is blood spilled in the Rajput family before this wedding takes place.”
After making this scary threat, she cut the call immediately. Sanya, who was sitting nearby, noticed that Anjali looked worried. “What happened? Who was that on the phone?” she asked with concern. Anjali explained the situation. “That was Rani Majumdar calling me. She used to be the daughter-in-law of the Rajput family once, but now she wants to kill everyone in that family. And it’s all because of what Abhay did to her.”
Scene 3: Torture and Escalating Conflicts
Meanwhile, Kavya was complaining bitterly to Rati about what had happened earlier. “Can you believe that Mehek had the nerve to go to the Rajput family wearing no necklace around her neck? She was trying to create a scene and make our family look bad. And then Anjali herself put that necklace on Mehek like she has some special right to do so.” Kavya’s jealousy was obvious as she continued, “I want that necklace that Mehek is wearing right now. It should be mine, not hers.” Rati was getting tired of Kavya’s constant complaining. “Just stop this nonsense, Kavya. You’re being ridiculous.”
Just then, Yuvraj came into the room and immediately started criticizing Mehek for various things. Mehek couldn’t understand why he was being so mean to her. “Yuvraj, why are you behaving like this with me? Don’t you remember how much you used to love me before we got married? You used to be so kind and caring.” Kavya couldn’t resist making a nasty comment, but Rati quickly told her to go and freshen up instead of interfering. Kavya complained, “The geyser in my bathroom isn’t working properly. I already asked Mehek to heat some water for me on the stove.” Mehek, trying to be helpful, said, “Yes, I’ll do that for you right away.” Then Yuvraj also demanded, “Heat some water for me too, Mehek.” Mehek agreed and went to the kitchen to prepare hot water for both of them.
While Mehek was working in the kitchen, Anjali called her to check on her situation. “Mehek, did you manage to talk to Yuvraj about everything we discussed? Did he tell you anything important?” Anjali asked hopefully. Mehek replied, “He will tell me everything eventually. Just give me a little more time to handle this situation carefully.” Anjali agreed but with a condition. “Okay, but I can only give you time until this evening. After that, I’ll have to take other steps.” Mehek promised she would get the information by then. At the same time, Gini was calling Yuvraj with an urgent warning. “Listen very carefully, Yuvraj. Anjali should not find out about the location under any circumstances. If she discovers where we are, you will be dead. Do you understand me?” Just as Yuvraj was trying to listen to this important call, Mehek came to inform him that the hot water was ready.
“The hot water you asked for is ready now,” she said politely. Yuvraj got angry at the interruption. “Can’t you see that I’m on an important phone call? Why are you disturbing me?” Mehek was confused. “But you’re the one who asked me to heat water for you.” Kavya tested the water and declared it wasn’t hot enough for her liking. Then, in a moment of pure cruelty, she grabbed Mehek’s hand and forced it into the scalding hot water. Mehek screamed in pain as the hot water burned her skin. Kavya raised her hand to slap Mehek for screaming, but Rati quickly grabbed her wrist to stop her.
“Kavya, what are you doing? Have you lost your mind?” Rati asked Mehek with concern, “What happened to you? Are you hurt?” Mehek, trying not to cause more trouble, simply said, “Nothing happened. I’m fine,” and left the room quickly. Rati scolded Kavya for her behavior, but Kavya was unrepentant. “I’m going to torture Mehek like this every day to take revenge on the entire Rajput family for what they did to us.” Despite what had just happened, Rati told Yuvraj, “You should go and take care of Mehek’s wound. She’s hurt because of your family.” But instead of showing concern, Yuvraj went to Mehek and started shouting at her.
“Why were you screaming like that? You embarrassed me in front of everyone.” Mehek couldn’t believe what she was hearing. “What else was I supposed to do when my hand was being burned? Tell me, where is Padma right now? If you don’t tell me, Anjali will make sure you go to jail.” Yuvraj became even more angry and made a horrible accusation. “You’re just trying to frame me so you can run away with some other man and enjoy yourself.” That was the last straw for Mehek. She couldn’t take any more insults, so she slapped Yuvraj hard across his face. Kavya, who was watching everything, encouraged more violence. “Yuvraj, why aren’t you slapping her back? She just hit you.”
Scene 4: Dangerous Phone Call and Ved’s Decision
Just at that moment, Anjali called Mehek again to check on her progress. “Mehek, did Yuvraj tell you anything useful yet? I need to know what’s happening.” Mehek had to admit, “No, he hasn’t told me anything so far.” Before she could say more, Yuvraj snatched the phone from her hands and started talking directly to Anjali. “Listen to me very clearly, Anjali. You need to stay completely out of this case. It’s none of your business what happens here.” His voice became more threatening as he continued, “And if you try to save Padma or interfere in any way, I will kill Mehek. I’m not joking about this threat.”
After making this dangerous statement, he cut the call abruptly. What Yuvraj didn’t know was that Ved had been close enough to hear the entire conversation from Anjali’s side. Ved understood immediately that Mehek was in serious danger and that Yuvraj was involved in something criminal involving Padma’s disappearance. Ved didn’t waste any time thinking about what to do. He went straight to the Thakur Mansion to confront Yuvraj face to face. When he arrived, he asked Rati directly, “Where is Yuvraj right now? I need to talk to him immediately.” Yuvraj, who had heard Ved’s voice, came out and said, “I’m right here.
What do you want?” Ved looked at him with anger and determination, knowing that he was about to confront someone who had threatened to kill an innocent woman and was involved in hiding a missing person. The confrontation between Ved and Yuvraj was about to begin, and everyone could sense that something big was about to happen.

He’s walking straight into danger.” Just then, Gini calls Anjali with a terrifying threat. “I can see that Ved is coming to find us. Well, let me tell you what’s going to happen. I’m going to send his dead body back to you, just like I did with Aman’s body.” But Anjali is determined to protect Ved. “I will never allow that to happen. I won’t let you hurt him.”
