Scene 1: Phone Calls and Kitchen Chaos

Neel was having a conversation with his friend over the phone about his current living situation in Delhi. “This city is huge, but honestly there’s nothing interesting to do here,” he complained to his friend. “I’m getting bored just sitting around the house all day.” His friend suggested a solution to his boredom problem. “Why don’t you come back to Mussoorie with all of us?” the friend asked. “We can go on those bicycle rides we used to enjoy so much together.” However, Neel immediately rejected this idea without giving it much thought. “Are you crazy?” he responded. “Why would I leave this luxurious lifestyle and comfortable house to go back to that simple life? I’m not mad enough to give up all these benefits.” After ending the phone call, Neel suddenly remembered that he was hungry and decided to go to the kitchen to find something to eat.

He walked through the house carelessly, leaving his belongings scattered on the floor as he moved from room to room. When Sowmya came into the area later, she noticed the mess that Neel had created with his things lying everywhere on the floor. Instead of simply cleaning up or asking someone to move the items, Sowmya saw an opportunity to execute a devious plan. She deliberately positioned herself near Neel’s shoe and intentionally stepped on it, causing herself to lose balance and slip onto the floor. As she fell, she screamed loudly for Adit to come and help her. “Adit! Help me!” she called out dramatically. The sound of her scream and the commotion brought Adit, Kusum, and Mangal rushing to see what had happened. When Adit saw Sowmya on the ground with an apparent injury on her hand, he immediately became concerned about her safety and the baby’s wellbeing. “We need to get you to the hospital right away,” he said urgently, helping her to her feet. As they prepared to leave for medical care, Sowmya thought to herself with satisfaction, “I can bear this small pain if it means I can cause serious hurt to Mangal and her position in this family.”

Scene 2: Hospital Drama and False Accusations

At the hospital, Adit demanded answers about what had caused Sowmya’s accident. “Who was responsible for placing those objects on the floor where Sowmya could trip over them?” he asked Mangal and Kusum angrily. Instead of revealing that Neel had carelessly left his belongings scattered around, Mangal decided to protect him from Adit’s anger. “I was the one who kept those things there,” she lied. “It was my mistake, and I take full responsibility for what happened.” This admission made Adit furious with Mangal, and he began accusing her of deliberately trying to harm his wife and unborn child. “You did this on purpose, didn’t you?” he said harshly. “You wanted to hurt Sowmya and cause problems for our family.” He then made a terrible threat that shocked everyone present.

“If anything happens to my baby because of your carelessness, I will not forgive you,” he warned Mangal. “I will make sure you pay for any harm that comes to my child.” Mangal tried to defend herself and explain that the incident was truly accidental. “It was an honest mistake,” she said desperately. “I would never deliberately do anything to hurt Sowmya or the baby. You have to believe me.” But Adit refused to listen to her explanations and continued his verbal attack. Neel watched all of this happening and felt terrible guilt about being the real cause of the accident while Mangal was taking the blame for his actions. Kusum also joined in scolding Mangal for her apparent carelessness. “How could you be so irresponsible when there’s a pregnant woman in the house?” she asked disappointedly. Adit called Mangal selfish and made another harsh threat. “If anything happens to my baby, I will never want to see your face again,” he declared. “You will be dead to me if my child is harmed because of this.”

When the doctor finally came out to speak with them, Adit anxiously asked about Sowmya’s condition and the baby’s safety. “How is my wife doing?” he asked with worry. “Is the baby going to be alright after this fall?” The doctor delivered devastating news that crushed Adit’s hopes. “Sowmya is physically fine and will recover from her injuries,” the doctor explained. “However, I’m very sorry to tell you that she has suffered a miscarriage, and we were unable to save the baby.” This terrible news caused Adit to collapse into a nearby chair, completely overwhelmed by grief and shock. Mangal immediately went to console him in his moment of despair. “I’m so sorry this happened,” she said gently, trying to provide comfort. But Adit’s grief quickly turned to anger directed at Mangal.

“You must be happy now that you’ve succeeded in taking away my baby,” he said bitterly. “You got exactly what you wanted, didn’t you?” Mangal was stunned by his cruel accusation and couldn’t believe he would think such horrible things about her. When Adit started walking toward Sowmya’s room, Mangal tried to follow him to continue explaining, but Kusum stopped her. “Don’t go in there and face Sowmya after what you’ve done to her,” Kusum told her firmly. “You have no right to show your face to her right now.” Kusum then expressed her disappointment in Mangal’s changed behavior. “Why have you become so different from the caring person you used to be?” she asked sadly. “Sowmya has always taken good care of your children, but you have killed her baby.”

Scene 3: Relief and Continued Deception

Inside Sowmya’s hospital room, Adit received completely different news that changed everything about the situation. The medical staff explained that there had been a terrible mix-up in their earlier report. “I’m happy to inform you that both Sowmya and your baby are perfectly safe and healthy,” the doctor told him with relief. “The miscarriage happened to a different patient, and we apologize for the confusion in our initial report.” A nurse came out of the room and shared this wonderful news with Kusum, Mangal, and Neel, who were all waiting anxiously in the hallway.

“There was a mistake in the first report,” she announced. “Sowmya and her baby are both doing well and there are no complications from the fall.” Everyone felt tremendous relief upon hearing this corrected information, and the heavy atmosphere of grief immediately lifted from the waiting area. Inside the room, Sowmya spoke to Adit with fake emotion about her fears during the crisis. “I cannot imagine living if anything terrible had happened to our precious baby,” she told him dramatically. “This child means everything to me, and I would be devastated if we lost him or her.” Adit promised to take the best possible care of both Sowmya and their unborn child. “I will make sure nothing like this ever happens again,” he assured her. “You and the baby will be my top priority from now on.” They embraced each other, and Mangal watched their emotional reunion through the glass window of the hospital room door, feeling relieved that the baby was safe but still hurt by Adit’s earlier accusations.

Kusum entered the room and expressed her gratitude for the positive outcome. “Thank God for protecting Sowmya and the baby from serious harm,” she said with genuine thankfulness. “I promise I will take complete care of both of them until the baby is born safely.” Sowmya pretended to be grateful for Kusum’s support and care. “We are only safe because of your prayers and your loving attention,” she said sweetly. “I feel blessed to have you looking after us during this difficult time.” However, when Sowmya noticed Mangal standing outside the room, she decided to ask questions about the accident. “Who was responsible for throwing those objects in the hallway where I could trip over them?” she inquired innocently. Adit immediately pointed the finger at Mangal. “It was Mangal who left those things on the floor,” he replied angrily. “She admitted to being careless and causing your accident.”

Sowmya pretended to be shocked by this information, but internally she was confused about why Mangal would take the blame for something she didn’t do. Adit then made arrangements for Sowmya’s comfort and recovery. “You must stay in this room and rest completely,” he instructed her. “We will bring you everything you need so you don’t have to get up and risk another accident.” While Adit spoke, Sowmya was thinking to herself about the situation. “Adit should have been scolding Neel for leaving his things around,” she thought. “I wonder why Mangal decided to interfere and take the blame for something that wasn’t her fault.”

Scene 4: Guilt and Future Threats

Outside the hospital room, Neel approached Mangal to express his guilt about the entire situation. “I never expected that my carelessly scattered belongings would lead to such a serious accident and so much drama,” he confessed to her. “I feel terrible that Sowmya got hurt because of my messy habits.” Mangal explained to Neel why she had decided to take the blame for his actions. “If anything serious had happened to Sowmya or her baby, I would never be able to forgive myself knowing that you were responsible for the accident,” she told him honestly. “I couldn’t let you carry that kind of guilt, so I decided to protect you by taking responsibility.” After this conversation, Mangal left to give Neel time to think about what had happened. Sowmya had been listening to their conversation from her hospital bed and heard every word they exchanged. “Mangal thinks she can impress Neel by protecting him and taking the blame for his mistakes,” she thought to herself with annoyance. “But her plan to win his favor is not going to work at all.”

Later, Adit helped Sowmya get comfortable in her hospital bed and then left the room to handle some paperwork. As soon as he was gone, Mangal entered the room and confronted Sowmya directly about her suspicions regarding the accident. “Why did you deliberately fall down even though you clearly saw the obstacles on the floor?” she asked Sowmya accusingly. “What exactly is your plan, and what are you trying to accomplish with this fake accident?” Sowmya tried to act innocent and turned the situation around on Mangal. “You should stop blaming me for accidents that aren’t my fault,” she replied. “I thought you came here to apologize for leaving dangerous objects on the floor, not to make more accusations against me.” Mangal was not fooled by Sowmya’s innocent act and continued her confrontation. “Your clothes and appearance may have changed since you came back, but your evil intentions are exactly the same as they were before,” she said firmly. “You are still trying to harm me and my children in whatever way you can.” She then made specific accusations about Sowmya’s recent behavior.

“You have been provoking Ishana against me and trying to turn her away from our family,” Mangal continued. “You’re also attempting to separate Neel from us and make him choose sides in this conflict.” Sowmya insisted that she had genuinely changed and was no longer the same person who had caused problems before. “I have truly changed my ways and want peace in this family,” she claimed. But Mangal refused to believe these promises of change. “A woman who is willing to use her own unborn baby as a tool in her schemes can never be trusted with my children’s safety and wellbeing,” she declared. “You have proven that you will do anything to get what you want, even if it means putting innocent lives at risk.” With this warning, Mangal left the hospital room, leaving Sowmya alone with her thoughts. After Mangal’s departure, Sowmya made a sinister promise to herself about her future plans. “This time I will definitely succeed in taking Mangal’s children away from her,” she vowed silently. “She thinks she can protect them from me, but I will find a way to turn them against her completely.”
