Mahadev looked at Devi Parvati and spoke to her about the way she was thinking about Raavan’s recent actions. “You are making judgments about Raavan without understanding his complete story,” he told her calmly. “This demon king has been praying to me and worshipping me since he was just a small child, and his devotion has never wavered through all these years.” Mahadev wanted to remind his wife about some important facts from the past that she might have forgotten. “Do you remember when you made Sukesh the king of Lanka many years ago?” he asked her. “You gave him that position of power and authority over the golden island.”
Devi Parvati nodded as she recalled that decision from long ago. “Yes, I remember that very clearly,” she replied. “But you also know what happened after that when Lord Narayan had to fight against Sukesh’s sons in a great battle and defeated them completely.” Mahadev continued explaining the history to help her understand the current situation better. “After that victory, I decided to give Lanka to Rishi Visharwa as a reward for his wisdom and devotion,” he said. “And there is something very important you need to know about Raavan’s family connections.” He paused before delivering the shocking news that would change how she viewed everything. “Raavan is actually the son of Rishi Visharwa, which makes him the rightful heir to Lanka.” Devi Parvati felt completely surprised by this revelation because she had not known about Raavan’s true parentage before.

I will listen to their prayers and fulfill the wishes of those who come to me with pure hearts and genuine devotion.” Meanwhile, in Lanka, Raavan was having a conversation with his grandfather about the upcoming opportunity. “Grandpa, I have received wonderful news about tomorrow,” Raavan said with excitement. “Mahadev has decided that he will grant a special boon to his devotees on Bhairav Ashtami day, after they complete their spiritual practices and show their dedication through prayer and meditation.”
Back in Kailash, Devi Parvati expressed her concerns about what might happen when the sacred day arrived. “What if Raavan comes back to Kailash on Bhairav Ashtami and asks for something that could be dangerous or unfair?” she asked Mahadev worriedly. “His requests might not always be reasonable or good for the cosmic balance.” Mahadev remained calm and confident in his decision about keeping the doors open. “The entrance to Kailash will be available for everyone who wants to come and pray,” he explained to his wife. “I want to see what choice Raavan makes when he has this opportunity.
It will show us his true character and intentions.” At that same time, Raavan was already preparing to leave Lanka for his journey to the sacred mountain. “Tomorrow I will have Mahadev himself in Lanka with me,” he said confidently to those around him. “I don’t want any weapons or special powers from him. I only want Mahadev himself to come with me.” He knew that this was the most important request he would ever make, so he had to be very careful. “Tonight I must not make even the smallest mistake in my preparations,” he thought to himself as he began his journey toward Kailash.
Scene 3: Sacred Worship and Growing Concerns
In the peaceful surroundings of Kailash, Devi Parvati began performing the evening aarti ceremony for Mahadev with great devotion and love. The sacred ritual filled the air with divine energy as she offered prayers and lit the ceremonial lamps. Nandi and Shivganga joined in the celebration by dancing joyfully to honor their lord, moving gracefully as the beautiful “Hara Shambho” song played in the background, creating a heavenly atmosphere throughout Kailash. Devsena also participated in the worship by performing her own aarti to show her respect and devotion to Mahadev. Soon after, both Kartikeya and Ganesh came forward to join their family in the sacred ceremony, making it a complete family worship. Devsena wanted to help and asked what was causing such distress. “What is troubling you so much that you can’t eat?” she inquired with genuine care. Kartikeya, who had been observing his mother’s behavior, provided the answer. “Mother is worried because of Raavan and what he might ask for tomorrow,” he explained to Devsena. On this day, I will grant the wish of any devotee who has completed their spiritual responsibilities with sincerity and dedication.” Devi Parvati still felt uneasy about the situation and shared her deeper fears. “The problem is that you always fulfill devotees’ wishes without thinking carefully about what might happen afterward,” she told her husband. “You grant boons based on their devotion, but you don’t always consider the consequences that might follow.” Her biggest worry was about what Raavan might specifically request. “I am afraid that you might give Raavan an even more powerful version of Chandrahasa today,” she said. “If he gets a stronger weapon, it could create serious problems for the cosmic balance and peace.”
Suddenly, they all heard Raavan’s voice approaching Kailash, and his words sent chills through everyone who listened. “I am going to ask something from Mahadev that no one has ever dared to request from him before,” Raavan announced boldly as he came closer to the sacred mountain. “What I will ask for is so unique and unprecedented that no one in the future will ever be able to make the same request again. This will be a wish that is completely one of a kind in the history of devotion.”
His confident tone and mysterious words created an atmosphere of suspense and uncertainty among all the divine beings in Kailash.
