Sonu stands before Anupama with shocking confidence. “My father has money, and Prakash has power,” he boasts. “Nobody can touch us.” He tells Anupama to just go home and forget everything. As he speaks, memories of his crimes flash through Anupama’s mind – particularly the moment he took her son’s life. Sonu notices her distress and actually laughs. Not far away, Rahi finds herself in immediate danger as Prakash approaches her. Terrified, she calls out Anupama’s name, but no help arrives. Prakash casually takes a drink of water, seemingly unconcerned with her fear.
The standoff intensifies when Anupama demands Sonu release Girija. Instead of complying, Sonu mocks the name “Girija” and does something unthinkable – he pushes her off the cliff. Anupama watches in horror as Girija plummets, then instantly attacks Sonu. Girija’s screams echo as she falls. Devika rushes toward the cliff to help, and Anupama quickly joins the rescue effort. Meanwhile, Preet searches frantically for Anupama. He runs into Pari, who’s also looking for her. When Pari asks what’s happening, Preet shares the dire news: if Anupama doesn’t arrive in time, Prakash will kill Rahi. They continue their desperate search.
In a stunning turn, Anupama manages to get the upper hand and dangles Sonu over the cliff edge. Now it’s his turn to beg. “Please don’t let go,” he pleads, suddenly not so confident. “Have mercy!” Anupama reminds him that because of his actions, her son Samar died. She tells him he never respected the law, so why should he continue living? In a surreal moment, Samar’s spirit appears. “I want justice,” he says. “My life ended too soon because of him.” He asks his mother to avenge him. Anupama makes her decision – she’ll let Sonu fall to his death. As she begins to release her grip, Sonu screams for help.
The moment is interrupted by a phone call from Prakash with a chilling threat: if anything happens to Sonu, Rahi dies. Hearing this, Anupama breaks down. Prakash explains that Rahi was gathering evidence against him when he caught her. Though Anupama warns him not to hurt Rahi, she makes the painful choice to pull Sonu back to safety. Once secure, Sonu regains his smugness. “As long as Prakash is around, I’m untouchable,” he gloats.
Anupama makes a solemn promise to save Rahi, no matter what it takes. Elsewhere, Ishani jumps when she sees police officers nearby. The inspector is simply warning the Shah family about recent thefts in the area and advising caution. Ishani breathes a sigh of relief when they leave.
Devika receives word that both Anupama and Rahi are now in danger. When Sarita discovers the truth about Prakash, she immediately offers to help them. Surprisingly, Devika refuses to involve the police in the situation. Anupama searches everywhere for Rahi. When she finally confronts Prakash, he cruelly tells her that Rahi is dead. Anupama freezes in shock before Prakash laughs and admits he was “just joking.” Furious, Anupama calls him out for his blackmail attempts. Tatiya appears and reminds Anupama that he warned her and the other women to stay away from Prakash’s business, but they wouldn’t listen. Prakash makes his misogyny clear: “Women need to be shown their place.” Anupama responds with a vow to bring him down completely.
In a revealing scene, Prakash’s wife confronts him about destroying so many young women’s lives. She begs him to leave Anupama and Rahi alone. His response? A hard slap across her face and a warning to “know your limits.” With disturbing conviction, he declares that this Dussehra will be different – evil will triumph over good. As the episode ends, Anupama continues her desperate search for Rahi.
