The potential risks associated with humanoid robots, particularly regarding children and pets, underscore the importance of developing reliable safety technologies.

As Sonair continues to innovate, Sandven believes that the company currently faces little direct competition for its sonar-based sensors. However, he anticipates that this may change as more companies seek effective safety solutions for their robotic systems. Sandven’s vision is to see Sonair’s technology become as ubiquitous in robotics as cameras are today. He expressed optimism about the future, stating that by this time next year, there will be a clearer indication of the direction the company is heading.
