Qatar continues to be the largest supplier of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to India, which is crucial for various sectors, including electricity generation and fertilizer production. The government’s efforts to secure diverse sources for both oil and gas are aimed at enhancing energy security and reducing vulnerability to geopolitical tensions that can disrupt supply chains.
