Starting his career at just 15, Chawla represented India at the Under-19 level and played a pivotal role in Uttar Pradesh’s first Ranji Trophy victory during his debut season. Throughout his international career, he participated in 35 matches, claiming 43 wickets with a commendable average of 35.76. His IPL tenure was equally impressive, taking 192 wickets across 192 matches while playing for various franchises, including the Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders.
