ICICI Bank Announces Revision in Charges for Savings Accounts Effective July 1, 2025

ICICI Bank, one of Indiaโs leading private sector banks, has announced a comprehensive revision of its charges applicable to Savings Account holders, set to take effect from July 1, 2025. The revised schedule of charges will impact a wide range of account types, transaction modes, and services, with the aim of aligning service costs with evolving banking patterns and operational needs.
The changes, which are detailed in a recent notification from the bank, cover key areas such as Demand Drafts, Pay Orders, ATM transactions, Immediate Payment Service (IMPS), cash transaction charges, and debit card fees. Below is a detailed breakdown of the forthcoming changes:
1. Demand Draft (DD) and Pay Order (PO) Issuance Charges

Regular Savings & Regular Salary Accounts:

Up to โน10,000: Revised to โน50 per DD/PO (previously โน50).

Above โน10,000: โน2 per โน1,000, subject to a minimum of โน50 and a maximum of โน15,000 (previously โน5 per โน1,000, minimum โน75).

Power Pay Salary Account/Family 360ยฐ Banking Salary Account:

Nil charge for DD up to โน1 lakh. Above that, โน5 per โน1,000 (max โน15,000).

2. ATM Interchange and Withdrawal Charges

At Non-ICICI Bank ATMs (in six metro cities: Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad):

After three free transactions (financial or non-financial), charges increase to โน23 per financial transaction (from โน21) and remain โน8.5 for non-financial.

3. ICICI Bank ATM Charges

After five free financial transactions, charge revised to โน23 per transaction (previously โน21). Non-financial transactions remain free.

4. IMPS (Immediate Payment Service) Outward Charges

Up to โน1,000: โน2.50 per transaction (unchanged)

Above โน1,000 to โน1 lakh: โน5 per transaction (previously up to โน25,000)

Above โน1 lakh to โน5 lakh: โน15 per transaction (unchanged for higher band, but lower band revised upwards)
5. Cash Transaction Charges
Regular Savings & Regular Salary Accounts

Deposits and Withdrawals (branch & Cash Recycler Machines):

First 3 cash transactions free per month. Thereafter, โน150 per transaction.

6. Debit Card Annual Fees

Revised from โน200 to โน300 per year.

For Gramin locations: Revised from โน99 to โน150 per year.

7. Replacement Card Fees

For lost or damaged cards, the fee is revised from โน200 to โน300 per card for all accounts except Basic Savings Bank Deposit Account (BSBDA).
Additional Notes

The revised charges are exclusive of applicable taxes as per government rules.

Modifications in cash transaction charges exclude regulatory accounts such as BSBDA, Incapacitated, Visually Impaired, and Blind accounts. Exclusions for other product variants remain unchanged.
