Scene 1: Food Fights and Hidden Agendas
Neil barges into Nitin’s office, holding a steaming plate of snacks. Keshav tries to block him, but Neil pushes past. “Why bring food here?” Nitin barks, eyeing the plate. Neil shrugs, “This place runs slower than a café. Might as well eat.” Nitin scowls but doesn’t stop him. He snaps at Keshav, “No one else gets in.” Keshav nods and exits. Neil leans on the desk. “I’ve found more clues in two days than your team in weeks. If this keeps up, the case will vanish like a forgotten snack.” Nitin glares but remembers Srichand’s advice: “Use someone Savi won’t suspect to track her.” He clears his throat. “You’re right. I need help.” Neil raises an eyebrow. “You think I’ll join after turning down Savi?” Nitin smirks. “This isn’t just about solving the case.” Suddenly, Savi’s voice booms outside the door. Keshav blocks her path. “I’m here about my husband’s case!” she shouts. Inside, Neil presses Nitin: “Why really want me here?” Nitin sighs. “Savi’s chasing her own agenda. She’ll twist evidence to save Rajat’s reputation. I need you to partner with her… and report back.” Neil hesitates, then nods.mSavi bursts in. “Why am I last on your priority list?” she snaps. Nitin coldly repeats, “Wait your turn.” She storms out. Nitin follows, but Savi yells at Neil: “Leave. Now.” Neil complies, already planning: She’ll listen if I give her what she wants.
Scene 2: Tea Leaves and Twisted Truths
Savi returns to Nitin’s office, fists clenched. “You’re wasting time,” she accuses. Nitin fires back, “You’re chasing lies, not facts.” She glares and exits, vowing to solve the case alone. Later, Ridhi’s family gathers for her farewell. As bags are packed, she whispers to Tara and Bhagyashree, “Don’t fight with Savi. Protect her.” They nod. Savi confronts Srichand, holding Teju’s photo. “Do you know her?” she asks. Srichand squints. “Should I?” Savi explains Teju’s scholarship from his foundation. He shrugs. “We fund many.” But when she mentions a man snatching Teju’s mangalsutra, his face tightens. “Ah, yes. I gave her a scholarship and a teaching job.” He dodges her question about Dubai, claiming disinterest. Savi drops the bomb: “Teju died with Rajat.” Srichand gasps, feigning shock. “How were they connected?” she pushes. He shakes his head. “I don’t know.” Savi’s voice cracks: “I’m stuck.” Srichand softens. “Focus on lifting your suspension. Let the case go.” She stiffens. “No. I’ll protect my family and punish Rajat’s killer.” As she leaves, Srichand dials a number. “She’s chasing Dubai now. Set the trap.” Minutes later, Savi’s phone rings. A man’s voice: “I know how Rajat and Ridhi are linked. Meet me at the lakeside. Alone.” She grabs her keys and rushes out.
Scene 3: Lakeside Lies and Captive Clues
At the lake, dusk paints the water gray. Savi scans the empty dock. “Who called me?” she shouts. Shadows shift. A hand clamps over her mouth. Struggling, she kicks free—her payal clattering to the ground—as masked men drag her into a van. They arrive at a crumbling warehouse. Savi is shoved into a dim room. Her breath hitches. On the floor, tied and trembling, is Ridhi. “Why are you here?!” Savi gasps. Ridhi whispers, “They took me days ago. I don’t know why.” Before Savi can respond, footsteps echo. A figure enters: Srichand’s associate. He smirks. “Rajat died before handing over the 100-crore ruby necklace. Now, you’ll get it for me.” Back at the office, Neil pores over files. Nitin interrupts: “Savi’s gone missing.” Neil grabs his jacket. “I’ll find her.” Meanwhile, Srichand watches a security feed of the warehouse. “Soon,” he murmurs, “this ends.”
