Raghav sits stiffly, his voice flat as he insists, “I’m fine.” Anupama’s eyes soften, but she doesn’t push—until she murmurs, “You can tell me anything.” Raghav shakes his head, words sharp yet empty: “Nothing to say. No feelings to share.” Anupama pauses, then ventures, “Is this about the Kotharis?” Raghav’s jaw tightens. “No. And I trust you.” The room stills. Anupama exhales quietly, relief mingling with unanswered questions. Elsewhere, Mahi giggles into her phone, “I’ll be the perfect daughter-in-law, Aryan! Anupama will adore me!” Aryan chuckles until Rahi barges in, yanking the phone away. “Enough lovey-dovey nonsense!” she snaps. “Aryan—go find Vasundhara. And pick your wedding clothes already!” Aryan slinks off, shoulders slumped. Back at the mansion, Anupama nudges Raghav toward Kinjal. “Let’s plan the Kothari menu. You’re the taste-test king!” Raghav smirks but obeys. Prem steps in, clearing his throat. “Vasundhara… she didn’t mean harm. Let me apologize for her.” Anupama’s lips thin. “Don’t speak for her. Or for us.” Raghav’s gaze narrows. “What did she say about her?” Prem flinches. “She called you a ‘backstabber.’ I’m sorry.” The air cracks with tension.

Prem squares his shoulders. “I’ll always stand by you, Raghav. My family’s wronged you, and I’m ashamed.” Raghav studies him, then nods. “You’re Rahi’s match. Loyalty suits you.” Prem beams. “Let me help with the catering!” Anupama waves him off. “Go fix your house first. Raghav and I’ve got this.” The Kothari living room buzzes. Badshah and Raja snicker as Aryan models a garish sherwani. “Looks like a walking peacock!” Raja roars. Aryan blushes, but Parag storms in, silencing them. “Vasundhara—you accused Anupama of stealing? Again?” Vasundhara crosses her arms. “I don’t control my temper!” Parag sighs. “She’s family now. Upset Prem and Aryan, and you’ll be alone.” Vasundhara softens, muttering, “I’ll send wedding invites tomorrow.” Her voice breaks. “Rahi and Mahi… no parents to celebrate with.”

Gautam corners Parag, sneering, “Why does Raghav cling to Anupama?” Parag rolls his eyes. “Fix your own mess with Prarthana first.” Meanwhile, Rahi barges into Raghav’s room. “Skip the wedding functions. Stay away from Anupama.” Raghav doesn’t blink. “Not happening.” That night, Anupama strokes a photo of Anuj. “I’ll smile through this wedding—for Mahi.” In her sleep, Rahi thrashes, dreaming of shoving Raghav out of Anupama’s life. Raghav’s dream-self fires back, “She needs me. Always.” Rahi jolts awake, stalking to Prem’s room. “Don’t let him near her,” she growls. Prem kisses her forehead. “Rest. I’ve got this.” Mahi twirls in her lehenga, grinning. Anupama adjusts her veil. “Team up with Rahi—keep the Kotharis happy.” Mahi hesitates. “I wish Kavya were here…” Anupama hugs her. “You’ve got me. That’s enough.”
Scene 4: Flames, Fears, and Farewells
Ishani drags Anupama to her room. “You’re the star tonight! Wear this!” Pari holds up a shimmering saree. Downstairs, Rahi dares Prem, “Show some passion! Kiss me—right now.” Prem pecks her cheek, smirking. “Admit you love me!” Rahi rolls her eyes. “Ugh… fine. I lo—” She stops mid-word as guests gasp. Khyati sobs in Aryan’s room. “You’re marrying Mahi, not me!” Aryan pats her shoulder. Rahi drags her out. “Stop crying! Help me fix his turban!” Moments later, the Kotharis greet the Shahs. Rahi fake-smiles. “Anupama, you’re… radiant.” Prem adds, “Both of you are!” But joy crumbles. Gautam corners Anupama. “Stay away from my kids!” she hisses. He smirks, but she turns away. Suddenly, smoke floods the house. Raghav sprints in, face ash-streaked. “The Shah mansion is burning. Everything’s gone.” Anupama freezes, the world crumbling like the embers in Raghav’s hair.
