Scene 1: Baskets and Battles
Parashar led Nutan to Pool’s workshop. “Take your time,” he said. “Learn everything.” Pool eyed Nutan. “You look like a rich man’s daughter.” Parashar chuckled. “Maybe that’s why I fell for her.” Nutan ignored the jab. “Teach me to make baskets,” she said. Pool crossed her arms. “If you keep that attitude, I won’t teach you anything.” Parashar stepped in. “Pool is like our sister. Treat her right.” Nutan nodded. “I’m sorry, Pool.” Kanka arrived with Moon in her arms. “Why’s Parashar always trailing Nutan?” she snapped. “Don’t Bua and Fufa need you too?” Nutan stood tall. “I’m here to work.” Parashar glared at Kanka. “The villagers ignore Nutan. It’s wrong.” Kanka sneered. “You’re blind to everything except her. When did you come home last night? Morning?” Parashar’s voice hardened. “Stay out of my life.” Kanka’s eyes glistened. “You saved me when I was pregnant. I thought you loved me.” “I didn’t,” Parashar said. “You misread me.” He pointed at Nutan. “Don’t interfere again.” Kanka turned away, tears dropping. “How can you say this in front of her?” Parashar shrugged. “You talk too much.” Pool broke the tension. “Nutan, come. Learn to weave.” Nutan watched women crafting baskets. “This reminds me of work I’ve done before,” she said. Parashar grinned. “I’ll get you tools. Teach others too.” Nutan nodded. “We can sell these in the city.” Soon, a crowd gathered, eager to learn.
Scene 2: Shadows and Sorrows
Lalon sat alone, staring at the horizon. “I wish this was a dream,” he whispered. Bablu joined him. “You’ve been stuck since Apu left.” “I can’t do anything without her,” Lalon muttered. “She’s my world.” Anjana approached with Apu. “Have faith,” she told Lalon. “God won’t abandon you.” Bablu tugged Apu’s hand. “Stay with us a few days.” Apu hesitated. “I have duties as Anuradha’s daughter-in-law.” She pulled Kajol aside. “What should I do? I don’t want to go back to Bose’s house.” Kajol nodded. “Tell them you’ll stay. They can visit you.” Anjana sighed. “Apu found love here. That’s why she chose this path.” Elsewhere, Arundati confronted Tanuja. “Where’s Anjana?” Tanuja lowered her voice. “At Lalon’s house. Apu has cancer.” Arundati gasped. “Why is God doing this to her?” Shubhankar frowned. “You shouldn’t have told her.” Tanuja shrugged. “We can’t hide it forever.” Laal entered, arms open. Arundati clung to him, sobbing. “We’ll fight for Apu,” Laal promised. “No harm will come to her.” Bipasha scoffed. “You support Jhanak but not me?” Laal snapped. “Don’t speak against Jhanak.” Bipasha stormed out. “Fine! Let everyone cry over Apu!” Choton and Mrinalini arrived at Lalon’s house with gifts. “We brought chocolates,” Mrinalini said. Choton squeezed Apu’s hand. “Eat well. Stay strong.”Aniruddh cleared his throat. “Let’s take Apu to Mumbai for treatment.” Choton nodded. “I’ll cover the costs.” Apu smiled weakly. “Thank you, but don’t fight. Let’s work together.”
Scene 3: Threads of Unity
Kanka handed Moon to Nutan. “When’s the party?” she asked Parashar. “Tomorrow,” he said. Kanka frowned. “Didn’t invite me?” Parashar laughed. “You’re Moon’s Maasi. Why need an invite?” Kanka’s voice wavered. “My baby would’ve played with Moon if she were alive.” Nutan placed Moon in Kanka’s arms. “Moon’s lucky to have two mothers.” She turned to Kanka. “Will you learn basket-weaving from me?” Kanka stayed silent. Parashar nudged her. “She’ll learn. Right, Kanka?” Kanka nodded slowly. “Yes. I’ll learn.”
The Episode Ends Here
Precap: A stranger cornered Nutan in a dark alley. “You’re too pretty to be working,” he leered, reaching for her. Before he could touch her, Parashar yanked him back. “Stay away from her!” he roared, punching the man. Nutan trembled. “Why does this keep happening?” Parashar pulled her close. “Don’t cry. You’ve got Moon. Be strong. You’ll raise her right, even if you’re alone.” Nutan wiped her tears. “I will.”
