Scene 1: A Glimmer of Hope and a Shocking Revelation
At the hospital, a couple stops Abhira and Arman in the hallway. “Thank you for suggesting IVF—it changed our lives,” the woman says, holding her newborn. Abhira smiles but tears up as she watches families with babies around her. Later, in a quiet clinic room, she asks the doctor, “Isn’t there any way I can have my own child?” The doctor mentions surrogacy IVF, explaining a family member could carry the baby. Arman frowns. “Surrogacy is illegal here,” he argues. The doctor clarifies, “If a close relative volunteers, the law allows it.” Both stare in stunned silence. Nearby, Rohit overhears the conversation, his face pale. Meanwhile, Shivani texts Manish: “They’re still not back.
