Jhanak Written Update 13th March 2025

Scene 1: Family Rules and Gift-Giving

Arundati looked at Mrinalini and said, “Why didn’t you tell me you were going out?” Mrinalini answered, “I told Anjana I’d be back late.” She added, “I’ve never seen Tanuja or Bipasha tell you before they leave. Are the rules the same for everyone?” Bipasha, standing close by, said, “Why do you keep talking about me?” Mrinalini replied, “I just want to know if we all follow the same rules.” Arundati said, “When Tanuja and Bipasha were new here, they followed the rules too.” Just then, Jhanak called out, “Come eat, everyone!” Mrinalini smiled and said, “Jhanak takes care of us, even though she’s not family.” Bipasha noticed a bunch of shopping bags and asked, “Why so many bags?” Mrinalini said, “Do you have a problem with that?” Bipasha answered, “No, but Choton doesn’t make that much money.” Mrinalini pulled out a special outfit for the Radha Mohan idol and gave it to Arundati. Arundati’s face lit up. “I’ve wanted this for so long,” she said. “Thank you!” Choton told Tanuja, “Help pass out the other gifts.” Mrinalini handed Anjana a table cover. Anjana said, “This is so nice! I’ve been wanting one like this.” Mrinalini replied, “I remembered you said that.” Then she gave Anjana an outfit for Bablu. Anjana said, “He’ll love it. You should give it to him yourself.” Mrinalini nodded, “Okay, I will.”

Next, Mrinalini gave Tanuja a saree. Tanuja said, “You didn’t have to, but thank you.” Mrinalini said, “I got outfits for all the men too, and for Mimi and Rumi.” Arundati felt bad and said, “I shouldn’t have gotten mad at you.” Mrinalini said, “Just trust me, okay?” She handed Bipasha a saree. Bipasha said, “I thought you forgot me.” Mrinalini laughed, “No way, I know you love sarees.” Bipasha said, “Thanks.” Then Mrinalini gave Jhanak a gift. Jhanak opened it and said, “This outfit is so pretty! Thank you!” Mrinalini gave her another one, saying, “It’s your first big event here, and you don’t have many clothes.” Jhanak got teary and said, “I’ll always remember you when I leave.” Choton said, “Don’t talk about leaving.” Mrinalini added, “Tell me if you go. You’re like my daughter, and I’d do anything for you.” Jhanak hugged her and Choton, feeling so happy. Mrinalini said, “I got something for Arshi too.”

Scene 2: A Strange Call and Big Accusations

Later, Bipasha’s phone rang. She picked it up and said, “Hello? No, this is the wrong number.” She listened, then said, “Why would I meet you? I don’t even know you!” She got mad and said, “Call again, and I’m telling the police!” Then she hung up. Laal walked in and asked, “What’s going on?” Bipasha said, “It’s just a wrong number, no big deal.” Laal said, “Wait, I got a call like that too.” Bipasha sighed, “Yeah, this guy keeps calling me and my mom, saying annoying stuff. I told him I’d call the police.” Laal asked, “What did he say?” Bipasha said, “I think he’s a scammer. Don’t worry, I can handle it.” She told Laal, “Delete that number and don’t answer unknown calls.” Laal said, “Good idea. Let’s block it.”

While they talked, they saw Jhanak standing by the door with some clothes. Laal said, “Jhanak, were you listening to us?” Jhanak said, “No, I just brought your clothes.” Bipasha frowned and said, “I bet you gave that guy our numbers.” Jhanak looked surprised and said, “Why would I do that?” Laal said, “Tell us the truth.” Jhanak said, “I’m telling the truth! I didn’t do anything.” Bipasha said, “I’ll show everyone you’re working with that scammer.” Jhanak said, “Okay, prove it then. You can’t just say things like that.” She added, “If you’re so sure, let’s go to the police right now and tell them.” Bipasha didn’t say anything back, and Jhanak walked away, feeling upset. Laal turned to Bipasha and said, “Are you sure about this?” Bipasha said, “I don’t trust her. She was standing there too quietly.” Laal said, “But she said she was just dropping off clothes.” Bipasha shook her head, “I’ll figure it out. That call really bothered me, and I need to know who’s behind it.” Laal said, “Let’s tell the family about the calls so they’re careful too.” Bipasha agreed, but she still wasn’t sure about Jhanak.

Scene 3: Getting Ready for Holi

Meanwhile, Apu ran up to Anuradha and said, “Ma, pick a saree for me to wear for Holi tomorrow!” Anuradha said, “Okay, go get ready.” Apu said, “You and Jimli have to get ready too. We’re all going!” Anuradha said, “I don’t really want to go.” Kajol, who was nearby, said, “Come on, Anuradha. Apu’s singing today, so we should all be there.” Apu said, “Yeah, Ma, I won’t go if you don’t!” Lalon walked over and said, “Please come with us, Anuradha. It’ll be fun.” Anuradha thought about it and said, “Okay, I’ll go.” Lalon smiled and said, “Oh, I start my new job tomorrow, but Apu has her program. I wish I could be at both.” Apu said, “I can’t go to my program alone!” Jimli said, “Don’t worry, I’ll go with you.” Lalon said, “Apu, you need to learn to go places by yourself sometimes.” Apu nodded and went to get ready. Back with Anuradha, she picked out a bright saree for Apu. “This one will look great on you,” she said. Apu hugged her and said, “Thanks, Ma! I’m so excited to sing.” Kajol said, “We’re all excited to hear you.” Jimli added, “I’ll wear something colorful too. Holi is the best!” Anuradha said, “I haven’t gone to Holi in a while. It’ll be nice to go with you all.” Lalon said, “It’s a big day for our family.” Apu asked, “Ma, will you dance too?” Anuradha laughed, “Maybe just a little.” Apu clapped her hands, “Yay! It’s going to be so much fun.” She ran off to try on her saree, already humming the song she’d sing.
