19 Projects and Initiatives Chosen for the National Awards for E-Governance 2025

The National Awards for e-Governance (NAeG) 2025 are set to honor outstanding initiatives in digital governance, with a notable first-time inclusion of the Gram Panchayats category. This year, the awards recognize projects that enhance service delivery at the grassroots level through innovative digital solutions. A total of 10 Gold and 6 Silver awards will be presented, alongside 3 Jury awards, during the upcoming 28th National Conference on e-Governance.
Recognizing Excellence in e-Governance
The NAeG awards aim to promote excellence in the implementation of e-Governance initiatives across India. This year marks a significant milestone with the introduction of the Gram Panchayats category, which acknowledges the vital role of local governance in enhancing service delivery through digitization. The awards are categorized into six distinct areas, including government process re-engineering, innovation through artificial intelligence, and grassroots initiatives. These categories reflect the diverse approaches taken by various organizations to improve public services through technology.
The awards not only celebrate successful projects but also encourage replication and scaling of effective initiatives across different regions. The recognition serves as an incentive for local bodies and organizations to innovate and improve their service delivery mechanisms, ultimately benefiting citizens.
