Shri Narendra Modi wished everyone a healthy and happy World Health Day. He thanked everyone who worked in the health sector. He said that Ayushman Bharat and PM Jan Aushadhi schemes are playing a vital role to ensuring high quality and affordable healthcare to our citizens. In the last 8 years, he said, the medical education sector has gone through a lot of changes. Several new medical colleges have opened up. He said the government of India wants to make it easier for Indians to study medicine in local languages, which will boost the aspirations of a lot of students.
