Laura Ingalls Wilder Quotes

Laura Ingalls Wilder (7 February 1867 – 10 February 1957) was an American writer, mostly known for the Little House on the Prairie series of children’s books, published between 1932 and 1943, which were based on her childhood in a settler and pioneer family. Wilder was born on 7 February 1867 in Pepin, Wisconsin, and spent much of her childhood moving from place to place with her family as they searched for a home on the American frontier. Despite these difficulties, she received a good education and went on to marry Almanzo Wilder and settle in Missouri, where she became a teacher and eventually a homemaker.
