Jhanak reminds them that she used to earn well when she lived in Mumbai. Finally, the groom arrives at the Bose house to marry Appu. Appu is excited to see him, but the others warn her that it’s against tradition to see the groom before the wedding ceremony. However, Appu ignores them, saying Lalan is her friend, and she has the right to meet him before the wedding. When she stands before Lalan, she compliments his outfit and how handsome he looks.
