Lucky Visits the Bhosle Family
The episode begins with Lucky visiting the Bhosle family. Shantanu asks why Lucky didn’t come earlier to see their Bappa. Lucky explains that they also have Bappa at their home, so he was busy. He offers to take care of the Akhandjyoti (sacred lamp) at their Bappa’s shrine for the night. Aman volunteers instead, but Lucky reminds him that he has office work. Mrunmayi supports Lucky, asking him to guard the Akhandjyoti. She jokes that Bappa sent Lucky because she needs to sleep for eight hours to prepare for an interview the next day. Lucky realizes his plan isn’t working. Aman smiles at Lucky’s situation and leaves. Isha, Shantanu, and Mrunmayi go to sleep, leaving Lucky in charge of the Akhandjyoti.
Savi’s DNA Test Plan
Meanwhile, Savi meets with a doctor, giving him Rajat’s hair and Sai’s nails for a DNA test. The doctor mentions that he has heard about Rajat before, as Rajat once came for a DNA test but changed his mind. Savi explains the situation is delicate and asks the doctor to give her the report as soon as possible. The doctor assures her that she will get it the next day and instructs his assistant to hand the report only to Savi. Savi thinks about how the report could change Sai’s life.
Mrunmayi’s Plan for Savi
The next day, Bhagyashree finds a pamphlet for a dhol (drum) competition happening in their community. Lucky tells her that he has already signed their family up for the contest. Ridhi reminds him that they don’t even know how to play the dhol. Lucky says that Rajat will help them win. Bhagyashree, Lucky, and Ridhi try to convince Rajat to join and help the family, but Rajat refuses and walks away. Aman watches all this. Mrunmayi shows the competition flyer to Savi and asks her to join, but Savi refuses. Isha, Shantanu, and Mrunmayi encourage Savi, suggesting they can donate the prize money to an orphanage if they win. Later, Aman tells Mrunmayi that Rajat is still refusing to participate.
Mrunmayi says she has a plan and shares it with him. He asks if it will work, and Mrunmayi confidently says she’ll handle it. She then goes to Savi, making her angry by saying that Rajat thinks Savi can’t win. Furious, Savi decides to confront Rajat. She challenges him to beat her in the competition and walks away.
Rajat Refuses the Challenge
Aman tries to convince Rajat to accept the challenge and prove Savi wrong, but Rajat refuses. Aman worries that Mrunmayi will be upset if the plan doesn’t work. During the competition, Savi wins against several opponents. Ridhi asks if anyone can defeat her. Aman announces Rajat’s name, and he steps forward. The Thakkars cheer for him. Rajat tells Savi she made a mistake by challenging him. They face off in the dhol competition, but Savi’s drum tears and Rajat wins.
Savi Finds Out the DNA Results
Savi then sees Lakshman holding the DNA test results. She takes the report and pulls Rajat aside. Bhagyashree mocks the Bhosle family for losing, but Isha defends them, saying Savi lost only because her drum was torn. Savi hands the DNA report to Rajat and asks him to read it. Rajat is shocked to learn that Saisha is his daughter. Filled with joy, he expresses how happy he is. Savi reminds him that Saisha is truly his daughter.
Wrap-Up: GHKKPM Written Update 13th September 2024
Later, Ridhi announces Rajat as the winner of the competition. He celebrates his victory with Saisha. Savi watches Rajat and realizes that Rajat will never change. To him, even Saisha is just another competition. Rajat remembers how Savi looked at him while he was treating his wound with cotton. The episode ends.
