Maharaja Gulab Singh (17 October 1792 – 30 June 1857) the founder of the Dogra dynasty and the first Maharaja of the princely state of Jammu and Kashmir, the second-largest princely state under the British Raj, which was created after the defeat of the Sikh Empire in the First Anglo-Sikh War. He died on 30 June 1857, in Srinagar, India.
Dadabhai Naoroji, (4 September 1825 – 30 June 1917) also known as the “Grand Old Man of India” and “Unofficial Ambassador of India” was an Indian political leader, merchant, scholar and writer who was a Liberal Party Member of Parliament in the United Kingdom House of Commons between 1892 and 1895 and the first Asian to be a British MP other than the Anglo-Indian MP David Ochterlony Dyce Sombre, who was disenfranchised for corruption after nine months in office. Naoroji is renowned for his work in the Indian National Congress, of which he was one of the founding members and thrice the elected president in – 1886, 1893, 1906 Indian nationalist and critic of British economic policy in India. He died on 30 June 1917 in Bombay, British India.
Balijepalli Lakshmikantha Kavi (23 December 1881 – 30 June 1953), an actor, poet, screenwriter, dramatist and freedom fighter. He is remembered for the masterpiece Harischandra written in 1924, and for his works in Telugu cinema. He died on 30 June 1953 in Andhra Pradesh, India.
