Master Tara Singh (24 June 1885 – 22 November 1967), a famous staunch Sikh leader, who recruited Sikhs to join the army during the First World War. inspired to. He was also a great scholar of Sanskrit and grammar, whose evidence is visible in his famous works ‘Rajwade Dhatkosh’ and ‘Sanskrit Bhashecha Ulgada’. Vishwanath Kashinath Rajwade composed the famous book ‘History of Indian Marriage Institution’ in the Marathi language. The Granth is a unique achievement of the extensive study and thought of Historian Rajwade. He was born on 24 June 1863 in Raigad, Maharashtra.

Damodar Hari Chapekar (24 June 1869 – 18 April 1898) is immortalized among the revolutionary martyrs of India. Damodar Hari Chapekar and his two brothers Balkrishna Chapekar and Vasudev Chapekar have also left their indelible mark in Indian history. These three brothers were influenced by Bal Gangadhar Tilak and were popularly known as ‘Chapekar Bandhu’. He was born on 24 June 1869 in Pune, Maharashtra.

Omkarnath Thakur (24 June 1897 – 29 December 1967), an Indian music teacher, musicologist, and Hindustani classical singer. A disciple of classical singer Vishnu Digambar Paluskar of Gwalior Gharana, he became the principal of Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Lahore, and later went on to become the first dean of the music faculty at Banaras Hindu University. He was born on 24 June 1897 in Jahaj, Khambhat (Gujarat) Baroda State, Bombay Presidency, British India (present-day Gujarat, India).

Gautam Shantilal Adani, an Indian billionaire industrialist, and philanthropist who is the chairman and founder of the Adani Group, the president of the Adani Foundation. He founded The Adani Group in 1988 and diversified his business into resources, logistics, energy, agriculture, defense, and aerospace, amongst others. His Net worth is US$68.1 billion (as of 23 June 2021). Adani was the second richest man in Asia and the 13th richest man in the world according to Forbes. He was born on 24 June 1962 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

Sanjukta Panigrahi (24 August 1944 – 24 June 1997), an Indian classical dancer, choreographer, and the foremost exponent of Indian classical dance Odissi. She got awarded India’s highest civilian awards the Padma Shri in 1975 for her contribution to dancing and associated activities, She is also the recipient of the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 1976. Sanjukta died on 24 June 1997 at the age of 52 in Bhubaneswar.
