Guru Gobind Singh (22 December 1666 – 7 October 1708), considered the tenth and last Guru of the Sikhs and was famous for the creation of the Khalsa, the military association of the Sikhs. Were. Srinivasa Iyengar Ramanujan (22 December 1887 – 26 April 1920), a great Indian mathematician. He is counted among the greatest mathematical thinkers of modern times. He did not receive any special training in mathematics, yet he made extensive contributions in the areas of analysis and number theory. With his talent and dedication, he not only made wonderful inventions in the field of mathematics but also gave India incomparable glory. Srinivasa Ramanujan, who left behind many stalwarts of his time in the field of mathematics, gave many formulas and principles of mathematics to the whole world in a lifetime of only 32 years. In the field of mathematics, Ramanujan was in no way less than Gauss, Euler, and Archimedes. Despite not taking any formal education, Ramanujan made such remarkable discoveries in the field of higher mathematics that his name became immortal in this field. He learned mathematics by himself and compiled 3,884 theorems of mathematics during his lifetime. Most of these theorems have been proved correct. He drew many original and unconventional results on the strength of his mathematical intuition and unparalleled talent of algebraic computation, which inspired research to this day, although some of his discoveries have not yet been adopted into the mathematics mainstream. His formulas became helpful in many scientific discoveries. Recently their formulas have been used in crystallography. Ramanujan Journal has been established for the work being done in the areas of mathematics influenced by his work. He was born on 22 December 1887.

Death Anniversary

22 December in Indian history is observed as the death anniversary of the following personalities:

Taraknath Das (15 June 1884 – 22 December 1958), considered one of the famous revolutionaries of India. Arvind Ghosh, Surendranath Banerjee, and Chittaranjan Das were among his close friends. Due to revolutionary activities, he had left his studies in the middle. He died on 22 December 1958.

Vasant Desai (9 June 1912 – 22 December 1975), a famous composer of Indian cinema. The lights of music composed by the great composer Vasant Desai, who adorned the film world with musical waves, have always been illuminating the colorful world of the film world. The famous song ‘Ae Malik Tere Bande Hum’ from the film ‘Do Aankhen Barah Haath’ was composed by Vasant Desai. This song is still heard wholeheartedly by the listeners.
