Narayan Shridhar Bendre (21 August 1910 – 19 February 1992), a famous Indian painter. His first public recognition came in 1934 when he was awarded the Bombay Art Society’s, Silver Medal. He also received his highest honour, Gold Medal, in 1941. In 1969, the Government of India honoured him with ‘Padma Shri’. Due to their interest in tourism, he made many trips and presented these travel scenes by moulding his artworks in different styles. His entire art life is full of such experiences. He was Born on 21 August 1910 in Madhya Pradesh.
B. Satya Narayan Reddy (21 August 1927 – 6 October 2012), a freedom fighter, socialist leader, and leader in Uttar Pradesh, Reddy was the former governor of Odisha and West Bengal. He made a name for himself as a landscape artist. He was elected to chair the International Jury at the Second Triennale in New Delhi in 1971 and as a fellow of the Lalit Kala Academi in 1974. His career was recognized further with a retrospective exhibition at the Lalit Kala Academi in 1974, the Aban-Gagan Award from Viswa Bharati University in 1984, and the Kalidas Samman in 1984. he received Many Awards including the Padma Shri award and in 1992, the Padma Bhushan award in 1974. Bhumika Chawla, her birth name is Rachna, and she is fondly called Gudiya. Bhumika Chawla is an Indian actress who predominantly works in South Indian films. After making a good career in Telugu cinema, Bhumika made her Hindi cinema debut with the film Tere Naam opposite Salman Khan. The film Tere Naam managed to do good business at the box office. After the film Tere Naam, Bhumika worked in many more Hindi films, including Run, Dil Ne Jise Apna Kaha, Silsila, etc., which failed to earn anything at the box office. Bhumika Chawla’s marriage to yoga teacher Bharat Thakur was completed on October 21 in the year 2007, Bhumika is also the mother of a son. She was born on 21 August 1978 in Delhi.
Pema Khandu, an Indian politician. He became the youngest Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh on 17 July 2015. He completed his studies at Delhi University. After the death of his father, he joined the Government of Arunachal Pradesh as Minister of Water Resources Development and Tourism. He won the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly election unopposed in June 2011 from his father’s constituency Mukto. He stood as a candidate of the Indian National Congress at that time. After the death of his father, he joined the Government of Arunachal Pradesh as Minister of Water Resources Development and Tourism. He won the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly election unopposed in June 2011 from his father’s constituency Mukto. He stood as a candidate of the Indian National Congress at that time. On 16 September 2016, Pema Khandu left the Indian National Congress with 43 ruling party MLAs and joined the People’s Party of Arunachal, and formed the government with the Bharatiya Janata Party. Vishnu Digambar Paluskar (18 August 1872 – 21 August 1931), a distinguished genius in the field of Hindustani classical music, has made significant contributions to Indian music. He was a reviver of the high status of music and musician in Indian society, a capable music guru, a deeply devout heart singer of unequaled vocals and singing skills. Vishnu Digambar Paluskar popularized Hindustani classical music during the freedom struggle by singing Ramdhun at various forums including meetings of Mahatma Gandhi Paluskar gave a special place to Indian music by establishing ‘Gandharva Mahavidyalaya’ in Lahore. Apart from this, he made an important contribution to the modern generation by collecting the transcripts of all the melodies of his time. Vishnu Digambar Paluskar came to Mathura and learned Braj Bhasha to understand the restrictions of classical music. Bandishes are mostly written in Braj Bhasha. Apart from this he also learned the Dhrupad style of singing in Mathura. He died on 21 August 1931.
Subrahmanyam Chandrasekhar (19 October 1910 – 21 August 1995) was an astrophysicist and winner of the 1983 Nobel Prize in Physics. He was educated at the Presidency College, Chennai. He was the nephew of Nobel laureate Sir CV Raman. Later Dr Chandrashekhar went to America. Where he wrote many books on topics related to astrophysics and the solar system. Subrahmanyam Chandrasekhar propounded the theory about the constellations named ‘White Dwarf’, i.e. ‘White Dwarf’. The limit he has set for these constellations is called the ‘Chandrashekhar limit. His theory revealed many mysteries about the origin of the universe. Kameshwar C. Wali writes about the life of Chandrasekhar that ‘he stands out from all in the extraordinary dedication to the pursuit of science and in applying the laws of science and imbibing its values to the nearest possible extent in life. ‘ His prolific contributions extended to astrophysics, physics, and applied mathematics. We all have a common interest and the fact that we have a common tradition is reinforced by the fact. He was a great scientist, a skilled teacher, and a formidable scholar. He died on 21 August 1995.
Ustad Bismillah Khan (21 March 1916 – 21 August 2006), an eminent shehnai player awarded the ‘Bharat Ratna’. Bismillah Khan, who was awarded the ‘Rostom Prize’ and many other awards of the ‘Asian Music Conference’ in 1969, made a major contribution in getting Shehnai special recognition outside India. In the year 1947, on the eve of the country’s independence, when the tricolor of India was hoisted at the Red Fort, the shehnai of Bismillah Khan was also distributing the message of independence there. Since then, playing the shehnai of Bismillah Khan became a custom almost every year after the Prime Minister’s speech on 15 August. He died on 21 August 2006.
