She was born on 20 June 1936 in Delhi, British India.
Paras Chandra Jain, former Cabinet Minister of Energy and New & Renewable Energy in Government. He is affiliated with BJP. He was born on 20 June 1950 in Ujjain, India.
Vikram Seth, an Indian novelist and poet. He has written several novels and poetry books. He has received several awards such as Padma Shri, Sahitya Academy Award, Pravasi Bharatiya Samman, WH Smith Literary Award and Crossword Book Award. Seth was born on 20 June 1952 in Calcutta.

Death Anniversary
20 June in Indian history is observed as the death anniversary of the following personalities:
Hamid Ali Khan Bahadur (31 August 1875 – 20 June 1930), Nawab of the princely state of Rampur from 1889 to 1930. A staunch supporter of higher education, Sir Nawab Hamid gave generously to many colleges across the subcontinent, including the Lucknow Medical College and Aligarh Muslim University, also greatly expanding the number of educational institutions within his state. He was instrumental in the foundation of Shia College, Lucknow. He died on 20 June 1930.
Prof. Kotcherlakota Rangadhama Rao (9 September 1898 – 20 June 1972) was an Indian physicist in the field of Spectroscopy. He was known both for his scientific ability and his interpersonal relations. He died on 20 June 1972 in Andhra Pradesh, India.
Anita Guha (17 January 1932 – 20 June 2007), an Indian Bengali actress who usually played mythological characters in films. She became known for playing the title role in Jai Santoshi Maa (1975).
