General Jayanto Nath Chaudhuri (10 June 1908 – 6 April 1983), a General Officer in the Indian Army. He served as the 6th Chief of Army Staff from 1962 to 1966 and the Military Governor of Hyderabad State from 1948 to 1949. After his retirement from the Indian Army, he served as the Indian High Commissioner to Canada from 19 July 1966 until August 1969. He was born on 10 June 1908.

Rahul Bajaj, an Indian billionaire businessman, the chairman of the Indian conglomerate Bajaj Group, and a member of parliament. He split Bajaj Auto into three units – Bajaj Auto, finance company Bajaj Finserv and a holding company in 2008. Rahul was awarded Padma Bhushan the third-highest civilian award in 2001. He was born on 10 June 1938 in Calcutta, Bengal Presidency, British India (present-day Kolkata, West Bengal, India).

E.V.V Satyanarayana (10 June 1956 – 21 January 2011), an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer. He directed a total of 51 films in Telugu and Hindi and introduced many actors to Telugu cinema. He was well known for making comedy films, most of which were successful at the box office. Production company called E.V.V. Cinema is established by him in 2000. He was born on 10 June 1956 in Korumamidi, Andhra State, India.

Sundar Pichai, an Indian American business executive, a Senior Technology Executive, and the chief executive officer (CEO) of Alphabet Inc. and it’s subsidiary Google. He joined the world’s largest search company Google in 2004 and was selected for the company’s biggest position on the strength of his hard work and ability. Sundar Pichai joined Google in 2004 where he was entrusted with the work related to ‘Product Management’ and ‘New Discoveries and New Ideas’. Under this he installed Google Chrome, Chrome OS. and played a key role in the development of products such as Google Drive, Google Maps, and Gmail. Pichai was included in Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in 2016 and 2020. He was born on 10 June 1972 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Mika Singh, an Indian rapper, singer and performer. He has a large collection of superhit songs including “Bas Ek King(Singh Is Kinng), “Mauja Hi Mauja” (Jab We Met), “Ibn-e-Batuta” (Ishqiya), and “Dhanno” (Housefull), “Sawan Main Lag Gayi Aag” and many more. Mika was born on 10 June 1977 in Durgapur, West Bengal, India.

Death Anniversary

Ramanath Tagore (26 October 1801 – 10 June 1877), one of the leading social figures in 19th-century Kolkata, British India. In his younger age, he was attracted towards the ideas of Ram Mohan Roy and was one of the original trustees of the Brahmo Samaj. He died on 10 June 1877 at the age of 75 in Calcutta, Bengal Presidency, British India.

Jeevan (24 October 1915 – 10 June 1987), an Indian actor who played Narad Muni in mythological films of the 1950s a total of 49 times. Later, he played the villain in popular Bollywood films of the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. He died on 10 June 1987 at the age of 71 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India.
